My fiancée and I visited Rome for a few days in October. We chose this 3* hotel hotel based on location and price - you do not visit Rome and spend all the time in the hotel! Yes the rooms were small and yes the decor was dated, however the bed sheets were clean and the shower was hot. Breakfast was perfectly adequate - croissants, cold meat, cereal, yogurt etc. There was also free wifi and we were given a free map of Rome. We found the staff to be polite and very helpful, giving us guidance on how to get to certain sights. Overall this is what we were expecting, a basic, cheap hotel where we could get a good nights sleep before heading out early to see the sights.
