We were sent here because there was a problem at our selected Hotel Waldorf. Very pleasant member of staff organised a taxi for us to travel the short distance to Giotto.

Lovely hotel, clean and comfortable room, beautiful bathroom facilities, good breakfast, very helpful staff. But no bar or restaurant, as advertised.

Lovely area, but beware - if you're going to be there on a Sunday, buy extra metro tickets as very few tabachi open on a Sunday!

  • Liked — Clean and comfortable room
  • Disliked — Lack of choice of restaurants in immediate area and difficulty with buying tickets for bus/train on Sundays

a quite good hotel, but not something special. the room is a bit smaller for 2 persons, but very clean, the curtain in the bathroom was dirty. breakfast was included, buffet, but not so much food. only non smoking rooms. :o(
not so far from the metro station that can take you to the center of the city

My husband and I stayed at the Giotto to celebrate our birthdays in January. The hotel was better than some and no worse than others we have stayed in. Yes the rooms are small and the bathroom shower was a challenge to even the best contortionist but we only needed a room for a base as we were out every day. The bus service was cheap and regular, just down the road and the train service was excellent. The buffet style continental breakfast was adequate and set us up till lunchtime. The little cafe over the road could have been a little more adventurous but the food was cooked fresh and was good. All in all you get what you pay for and we thought it was quite good value for money.

We stayed here on a Top Deck tour, the hotel is not the easiest to find and is serviced by intermittent public transport. The room was small but clean but the shower was definately interesting as it was a shower head attached to the wall and then the drain was on the bathroom floor. It made the bathroom very slippery and somewhat dangerous. The breakfast was ok nothing flash but they did have fruit which was nice.

My friends and I stayed here for two nights. The room wasn't HUGE, but it did suffice for the four of us. The rooms were clean. The hotel itself overall was great, especially the roof. It was really nice up there at night, nice view of the city lights. Also, located directly across the street is a little cafe. The service there was excellent, as was the food & drink.

We all had a great time there and certainly would go & stay there.
