We stayed here for 5 nights. The staff were friendly and helpful giving directions. The rooms are basic, but as we were not staying a lot of time in our room (basically just to sleep) this did not bother any of our group. We all felt we were in an ideal location we easily managed the sights as all were in easy access.

As for a bad area at night time, none of our group found this (including very late). I would say if your looking for somewhere clean and just to wash and sleep then it's ideal as the rooms are not equipped with loads of space, although we had fantastic wardrobe space, a double and single bed. We hope to go back there again.

We travelled to Rome in May and it was terribly hot. Hotel Terminal did not have their airconditioning turned on and the streets were too noisy to leave the windows opened. That definitely made the stay unpleasant even though the location is great and the rooms are clean. Most members of the staff are polite, but we did have one really nasty manager.

Just spent a great week at the Terminal hotel. My room was spotless. The employees were all polite and helpfull. The manager went out of his way to guide us with bus and metro tips. The nonsense about being afraid to walk about at night is baloney.I am 80 years old and had no problem walking about .We ate each night at one of the restaurants on the street. The only suggestion I could make is that they should get rid of the coffee machine in the breakfast room.

Stayed at Terminal Hotel in July 08 during big European holiday. The location is superb, right in the middle of the tourist action. The hotel is very close to the Termini Train station which was very handy - I'd say less than 5 minutes walk and you're there. Was a little apprehensive when booking this hotel based on the reviews I had read and unfortunately many of them were exactly the same as my experience. The hotel is pretty old and needs a renovation quite badly. We stayed on the 5th floor and thankfully there is a working elevator. Was quite shocked at just how small the room was - there was nowhere for our cases to go and the bathroom was the smallest I've ever seen. Cleanliness wasn't great but it wasn't the worst I've seen. Shower was so small you couldn't really turn around with the door closed and the water was constantly tepid. I didn't mind this too much given it was the middle of summer. The room was stayed in didn't look like the photo's we had seen but I guess they must exist on another floor. The included breakfast was awful but there are loads of great places to eat nearby anyway. Overall the hotel was pretty disappointing but the location and price were right and you don't go to Rome to stay in your hotel room! My advice though, don't go in the intense July heat - it certainly slows down your site seeing!

Just coming back from Italy, we stayed at the terminal hotel.
The Hotel was durty - shower was full of moist. I could`nt close the door to shower. The bed was full of hair???? Carpet was black and the wall were durty. The breakfast, there is no need to talk about it..... Please do not book there. The price is very high for the quality.
