Hotel is ideally situated, 3 mins walk from termini station, showers are hit and miss, sometimes you get hot water, and "shower curtain" was a leaky plastic mess and rooms are uber basic.

If you can get a cheap deal, and only use the place to sleep you won't be dissapointed. Staff helpful and friendly. The best thing is location from termini station as you can hop on the metro and get anywhere in rome.

Considering that this hotel claims to be a three-star hotel, I was very disappointed in my stay. The infrastructure could have been OK, but dirty bathroom, one bed instead of twin beds that we paid for, non-functioning elevator (room in 5th floor) and a poorly arranged breakfast really don't fit my idea of an OK hotel. Most disappointed I was in one of the receptionists, who was very rude towards us and never apologized his appalling behaviour.

The location is perfect, close to any and all transportation..walking was easy to Termini, many wonderful trattorias and ristorante with reasonable prices in the neighborhood.
We had a nice corner room overlooking the park, which while it was noisy at night (we were in Rome, after all) was very clean and comfortable...with REAL bathtowels, not those flimsy bathsheets found in most European hotels.
The staff was friendly and very accommodating, the continental breakfast was both fresh and complete..on one occasion the woman in charge of the rooms made an apple torte for the guests...I would love to have that cappuccino machine in my kitchen.
We felt safe walking at night, there was someone on the desk 24/7...the only problem was the noise from the street, something they cannot control. We would definitely rebook

We stayed at the Terminal hotel in Rome for 4 nights and were very pleasantly surprised after reading other reviews. Yes, the room was basic but it was spotlessly clean with pure white sheets and towels (all of which were changed after 2 days). The bathroom was very up-to-date and again very clean and the staff were extremely polite and helpful. We asked to order a taxi to take us to the Vatican early in the morning and were told not to bother and given the number of the bus which took us straight there no problem. The area is a bit seedy but we prefer that to a sanitised view of a city and we always felt very safe. There were also lots of good Trattoria's around and we ate well every night quite economically. Would certainly go again.
