Hotel is located 15 min. walk from Termini rail and metro station and 10 min. from Barberini or Repubblica metro stations. Rooms are on 2nd and 3rd floor of an apartment building with windows facing busy street. Expect traffic wake up noise around 6:30 am. There is large bathroom but shower booth is European style. Hotel provides free wireless internet. Breakfast is very good and plenty. Front desk service very helpful. We could storage our luggage without any problem after check out time.

The best thing was location of that hotel. Staff was very helpfull, and breakfest was niece also. But I can`t say anything else good about that hotel. I hadn`t seen so dirty hotel in my life. Bathroom was disastrous, dirty and smelly. Bath dirty, I couldn`t see myself in the mirror - the same dirt during all my stay. Some fungus between tiles. Room was little bit better, but not clean anyway.

Overall impression: Just OK for an overnight sleep but not a very pleasant place at all to stay and relax for longer.

Positive: Good location, clean bathroom, reasonable price, parking nearby (not free of charge though).

Negative: Room not pleasant and not so clean. We had a big footprint opposite the bed in the room. No carpets and poor furniture. An unpleasant smell just outside our room. Breakfast was very poor (no eggs, cheese or sosages - mainly just bread/croissant, butter and coffee). Got rather unpleasant overall feeling after staying in this hotel.

The hotel is situated in a shared building, but that is really not a problem. Reception is bright and airy, with free internet access, and staff were very accommodating. Lift is quite tiny if you have lots of bags!

The room was fairly spacious and v clean, although the bathroom was quite a squeeze. Breakfast was typically continental - pastries, bread, fruit, cereal, toast, coffee, juice. Nice, with plenty of top ups, and a lovely breakfast room.

Location wise, it is quite close to Republica station - but if you arrive to Termini as we did just walk from there to the hotel. It seems handier to get the metro to Republica then walk from there but is DEFINITELY not if you have luggage - you'd be as quick to walk the whole distance as tramp up and down staircases with suitcases!

  • Liked — staff, breakfast
  • Disliked — tiny lift

We are 4 persons stayed in Hotel Embassy for 3 nights, in two rooms (one for each couple).
First of all both of the rooms were clean, including the bathroom.
Please note that we are very capricious with cleanliness.
Everything is a few minutes walk away.
The rooms are big enough if you are staying for less than a week.
Strange thing is that even though the bathrooms are big the showers are so small that if you weight more than 100 kilos (220 pounds) you want fit in.
The breakfast is typical.
I recommend this Hotel for all types of visitors.
