About 10 mins walk from Termini, this hotel is located in a larger building that is shares with a few other businesses (including another hotel).
The staff were pleasant, gave me a choice of rooms, and had sorted out the faxes and things that had been sent ahead of me, so I could just get on with what I wanted. The room was clean, and the towels perfumed, which I thought was a nice touch. It also has wireless access for free (a novelty for visiting Americans), and this was much appreciated, as Rome can be a bit of a bore in the evening after dinner (unless you like posing on the Spanish Steps, or getting pickpocketed at the Trevi Fountain).
Breakfast was the usual Italian awfulness, but the coffee was fine. No point coming to Italy if you like a good breakfast, and no point complaining about it either. The downstairs rooms have fantastic views of the street opposite, and are slightly larger than upstairs, but much noisier. This has no effect on me as I sleep like a log, but if you are a light sleeper, ask for something higher up.
The location is pretty good, but wherever you stay in Rome expect to do a lot of miles. Take your stoutest walking shoes, and be sensible and do what the locals do: a sleep in the afternoon is an essential part of an Italian holiday.
