This Hotel Torino was selected by the company and not my choice. Not really my kind of place, it is located not far from the railway station. It has good location maybe but for the price what you pay here you could get much better somewhere else. Anyway, the breakfast on the roof on a sunny morning was the only good thing here, the rest was crap. (so in short, this hotel not worth for what you pay)

We stayed at Hotel Torino for a week with our children aged 10 and 12 - the room was more like an apartment with a separate room for the kids. The staff were always helpful - happily brought a pot of tea to our room. The bathroom was large and clean. The shower took a while to heat up but was eventually fine. The breakfasts were generous and the roof top dining a lovely experience. The location was fantastic with many affordable restaurants less than 100 metres away and walking distance to all the sites. Definately recommend Hotel Torino.

The room was so basic it looked like a very neglected boarding house. When we went for breakfast we took one look and decided to try and get something out side of the hotel.

I cannot say anything good about his place, it was really very very bad.

I stayed here only one night as my week long booked hotel was full my first night. I staggered into the Torion at 11am after an 18 hour flight from the West Coast. No rooms were available that early. BUT, the front desk guy saw how tired I was and went and found me a room I could get into immediatly. THAT IS SERVICE! Took a shower and rested, went out into Rome, made possible by this great guy at the desk. This is a classic tourist hotel. A bit frayed at the edges, rooms need a remodel, nice bathroom, BUT one block to Termini Rail Station and Plaza Republica. I consider this a VALUE hotel.

This was a great little hotel- yes its basic with its rooms but when you're in rome how much time do you want to spend in your room anyway? The rooms and bathrooms were clean; breakfast was good, with a wide choice available. I found the staff to be friendly. Whats great about this hotel though is its location- its literally a 5-10minute walk to the collesium- as a result its also close to shops and cafes, gelato bars and a supermarket. It also has a great little roof garden where its great to catch some late afternoon sun after a day of sightseeing. Definately good value for money and a great base to explore the city from.
