Stayed here for several nights during a trip to Rome in early Oct 2009. Had a single room with ensuite.
The room and bathroom were always clean, and serviced daily. The single room however was tiny. My backpack went on the floor, leaving no room to even walk around the bed.
The bed was hard and uncomfortable, and the curtains were almost non-existant. There was no way that the room would ever get dark, especially with the hotel lights on all night directly outside the window. (I had to sleep with en eye patch!) There was an outside shutter, but it had seized shut and could not be moved.
The breakfasts each morning were great. Cereals and breads along with bacon and eggs, plus juices and tea and coffee. A great way to start a sight seeing day.
All in all the hotel is fine. The hard uncomfortable bed and lack of proper curtains were the only draw backs.

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel. It is located two subway stops southeast
of the central train station. It is not really close to any of the major
attractions except for San Giovonni. However, the hotel is close to major
bus/tram stop and 5 minute walk to the subway station. The hotel entrance
has a nice garden with a sitting area. Inside, it is nicely decorated with a
decent size lobby and a dining area. Breakfast is free with freshly cooked
bacon, eggs, and tomatoes. They have some cold cuts and cheese. There is
also the usual assortment of continental breakfast items. I asked for a
larger room and was given a nice size room with a small sofa and desk. The
bed was solid and comfortable. The bathroom was very big though the only
problem was there is no shower curtain. You shower in the tub and the
bathroom can get quiet wet from the spray.

The problems I had with this place were the hot water and poor water
pressure. On the first day, the hotel said it was the boiler. While the next
three days, it did get progressively better, I honestly do not believe it
was a boiler problem. My room was the last corner room on the second floor.
I just think being an old building; it just had poor water pressure. You
turn on the hot water for about 5 minutes, it eventually comes though not
very strong. The other problem was internet access. While each room had free
Ethernet jack access, for whatever reason, it stopped working after using it
for about an hour on our first day. No one was ever able to figure out the
problem. They do have a desktop in the lobby for free internet access. You
can also buy WIFI access.

In general, we were happy with this place except for the hot water
situation. The price was good for the property and the free breakfast was
very good.

I can't say I was that I was overly impressed. The staff weren't as helpful or friendly as the previous reviews I read. Breakfast is served at 7:30, but they were never ready throughout our 5 night stay. You were waiting until 8:30 for all the food to be out. Because of all the water features near the entrance, the hotel was brimming with mosquitos. So I had to resort to spraying mozzie spray all over myself before going down for breakfast. We had problems getting hot water in the shower. The air conditioning was not very good. It got too cold at night and there weren't any extra blankets. TV reception was terrible and the remote buttons were worn and some did not work. The hotel wasn't badly located from the tram, metro or buses, and was in a quiet area.

After a 20 hour flight to Italy from Australia, this was an easy to find hotel from Termini Station and the staff were so welcoming and helpful upon our arrival. The hotel is quite sweet but some communal areas are in need of repair. The room had a few bumps and bruises but it is what you would expect for the price - and who stays in their hotel for too long when in Rome?? The courtyard, large breakfast and free internet were great!

Stayed at this hotel in June for 4 nights, couldn't fault it. 15 mins walk from Termini ( did look at some hotels on internet around Termini & so glad I didn't book one, very noisy & not such a nice neighborhood) The hotel is only 20 min walk to Colosseum, from there you can explore most of the major sightseeing attractions. We didn't use public transport as we enjoy walking. The room was basic, but tastefully decorated with paintings & nice high ceilings & very clean, with fresh towels everyday & fresh bed linen after 2 days.a fridge & air conditioning, which you do need if traveling in the summer months, TV had loads of channels but only CNN in English, but for all the time your in the room, this was fine. The outside courtyard was a delight to sit in after a full days sightseeing we would buy some wine on the walk home & sit outside. Breakfast was continental but adequate to set you up for the day, hot coffee, toast, pastries, yogurts, bread, cold meats etc. Even scrambled eggs & bacon if you didn't go down too late.Overall great budget hotel, in a nice quiet street.
