We have just returned from a 4 night break to the Hotel Trevi in Rome, Italy.
The hotel is in a fantastic location just a few yards from the Trevi Fountain. We stayed in the annex just round the corner and across from the side of the Trevi. The room was large with a double bed and a double sofa plus dressing table etc. The shower room was well stocked but there was no bath. Linen and towels were changed daily. All other tourist sites are within easy walking distance as we found out when we went on the open top bus tour, 12euros each for 2hour trip.
Continental breakfast is served in the roof top terrace which overlooks other rooftops but wasn't a problem for us. Choice was limited but there was ample food. Although the terrace is small we went between 8AM-9AM and never had a problem with seating or service. The only problem was a winding staircase up to the terrace which could be a problem for people with limited mobility. All the staff speak English and were most helpful. If you have made your own way there the hotel can arrange for taxi transfers back to the airport for 52Euros for 4 people.
There are lots of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance with a variety of prices.

We were given a room outside of the hotel in a private residence. It was the largest suite I have ever staying in while in Europe. The suite was just up the street from the Trevi Fountain. We had out own key and came and went without any problems. We had breakfast in the main hotel each morning. The food was better than most of the other hotels we dined at. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. They helped us out last minute when other reservations fell through at Hotel Fontana (I do NOT recommend these people at Hotel Fontana...I felt cheated). They worked with us on cost and gave us a discount on the room. I would stay here again. I think this was a fantastic location (although, I'd recommend you check into Hotel Abruzzi if you want location...it is right across from the Pantheon and was the best location I have found).

Stayed at the Hotel Trevi two weeks ago, sharing a room with three other ladies. The room was comfortably large, mini bar, good shower, clean sheets and t.v. - everything was more than satisfacory. We didn't stay in the hotel, we were in the annexe around the corner - in a way it was like staying in a flat. Staff were reasonably helpful, especially the lady serving the delicious breakfasts. The main thing about the Trevi Hotel is the fabulous location - its so close to all the tourist spots. It is by no means a luxury hotel but had everything we needed to make us comfortable - especially the fact that we could walk everywhere.

Location was fine as it near the Coliseum , The trevi fountain etc. loved that it is was close to many of the city attractions

Since it was our third trip to Rome, we knew the city and this is in the heart of the city

Room was fine, but as usual, small, had no problem sleeping etc Staff were OK I thought it was decent value for what you paid
