An absolute wonderful place to stay in Rome! Very convenient to public transport, but also located closely enough to most major sites that we chose to walk and explore. Room was impeccable, with a great view onto the tree lined street below, adding to the ambiance. Wide assortment of breakfast items, including meats and cheese. However, the Hostess Elisa was the best! Very knowledgable and full of excellent information for exploring the city. She even had prepared a very special gift and other goodies, knowing we were celebrating a special occasion. Definitely loves what she does and the perfect personality for this field. Hope to stay here again and highly recommend this for anyone choosing to stay at a B&B in Rome.

Everything in this 3 bedroom B&B is new, well designed and very comfortable. The bathrooms are spotless with a powerful shower, and there is a kitchen area that is well equipped in the unlikely event you feel like self catering while you are here! Elisa, the host, is extremely helpful and friendly, and willing to provide lots of suggestions and ideas if you need them. The area is very convenient and within easy reach (either by bus/metro or walking) to all the main attractions. We can firmly recommend this place to stay, and plan to return ourselves. As others have mentioned, this is a fourth floor walk-up, so be ready for a bit of exercise. There is an excellent bakery round the corner that does amazing pannini, called I Guerrini - Via Galvani 35 - Rione Testaccio, which you really must try while you are here. There is some street noise but we slept with the windows open and it did not keep us awake.

Room Tip: All the rooms are lovely - one is a triple and therefore especially roomy

The apartment is modern, very well-kept and clean. The host makes the place incredible however. Ellisa is friendly, knowledgeable and hard-working. It is on the fourth floor (fifth for you Yankees) and there is no lift, but the climb helps you burn some of the calories you will take in during your Roman holiday! We would definitely stay here again.

I chosen this fantastic B&B several time during my trips to Rome (last time was in July 2012), and was always fully satisfied. The B&B is on the 4th floor of a traditional building in a typical Roman neighborhood, Testaccio. The design rooms are tastefully decorated, spotless clean, bright, with flat screen tv, wifi, great towels and modern bathrooms, double-glazed windows, air-conditioning, and interesting books in the rooms and at the entrance plus maps and guides. Location is quiet, leafy, great to discover the Eternal City by foot or using the nearby underground, trams and bused. Elisa and Gianni, the owners, are extremely helpful. The restaurants that they suggested me remain the best ones I experienced in Rome so far. Breakfast is self service at the entrance, with choice of coffee, biscuits, croissants, yogurt, milk, jams, fresh fruit. There is no lift but in truth I benefit from some exercise and this B&B is definitely worth it. Thank you Elisa for being such a wonderful host!

This was the perfect for the two of us for two nights in Rome, enroute back to London. The B&B is on the top floor (four storeys up, without a lift, so be warned!) of an old residential block in the area of Testaccio. It's just 10 minutes walk from Piramide Metro. Quiet, leafy. Our double-bedded bedroom was spotless; the two windows provided masses of light, while at the same time had double glazed windows to shield off any noise from outside (very little anyway), air-conditioning that was silent and easy to control. One window looks out over the huge plane trees, referencing the name of the B&B. The owners are architects and have designed and furnished the B&B - as you can see from their website - have converted what was an old apartment into a modern, very comfortable set of 3 separate bedrooms. Compact but perfect. There is an ensuite bathroom, free wifi, flatscreen TV (though only italian stations). Breakfast is self service - a choice of ready packed croissants, crispbreads and jam, yoghourt, fresh fruit and coffee/tea. There are local maps and guide books that will help you plan your way around. Elisa, the co-owner was delightful and there to meet us when we arrived. She's charming and so helpful - she booked us into Flavio, the restaurant just 2 minutes walk away where we had an excellent dinner. Angelina just a further five minutes away is also worth going to, though book in advance for either. If you can put up with a bit of a climb up to the top of the B&B, you couldn't ask for a nicer owner, more comfortable and quietly-located B&B for a sojourn in Rome.
