We stayed here for a week in August 2004 and couldn't have been happier!

Pluses:
- very friendly and accomodating staff (most of them spoke English)
- wonderful breakfast
- *awesome* location
- clean, comfortable rooms

Minuses:
- cramped bathrooms/showers (I believe this is true for almost every Roman hotel, though)
- hotel is on the 3rd floor (no elevator)

We were walking distance from all the major Roman monuments (Colloseum/Forum, Vatican, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps), and only a few blocks from a Metro station when our feet got too sore! The hotel is smack in the middle of Rome's major shopping district as well, but not on a major road or anything. Really, you can't pick a better location.

I highly recommend this charming little hotel!

Two fastidious travellers couldn't fault this lovely little hotel.Central, spotlessly clean, cosy and friendly. The breakfasts are amazing! A classy establishment.

Location: Simply excellent. Two streets from the Via Condotti, 4 blocks from the Spanish Steps and 5 from the Metro. Only minutes from the Fontana di Trevi or the Villa Borghese.
Staff: Friendly, outgoing, helpfull, prompt, basically everything a foreighner would want.
Rooms: Small but welcome. Comfortable bed, mini bar, armoir and dresser. But since it is the heart of Rome, its a noisy street until late in the night. But quiet until late in the morning. The shower was difficlut to get into, a little to small for my comfort.
Food: The breakfast was better than expected for Italy. Its almost a bed and breakfast. Yogurt, toast, marmalades, eggs, cereal, juice, milk....
Rates: I can't complain considering the service and location.

Just returned from a lovely (but rainy) weekend in Rome. The hotel is in a prime position about 5mins from the Spanish Steps. Although the room was very small (en suite shower room and very makeshift beds) it was comfortable and the breakfast was a treat. The staff are warm and friendly and the decor in the public areas is excellent.
