“Excellent base for sightseeing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

The hotel is in walking distance from Termini Station and very convenient for all transportation. The room is on the smaller side but with a balcony on the fifth floor. Buffet breakfast was served in a breakfast room and was included. The pastry was very nice! Staff were friendly and helpful. The price we paid was good value for money. I can highly recommended it to travellers visiting Rome.

Room was clean but small, hotel is walking distance from Termini Station very convenient for all transportation. Buffet breakfast was served in a beautiful breakfast room. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Good value for money.
We will go back to this hotel again and highly recommended to travellers visiting Rome.

This hotel was awful, breakfast was disgusting, eggs sitting in fat, coffee, if you call that coffee, where was the yoghurt, toast, fruit???? Room was so small we had to put chairs on the balcony to move around. My advice, go elsewhere anywhere but the Rimini

Thankyou for your review
We take in great consideration our client opinion.
Moreover when they are genuine and coming from persons who really were our clients!
Like for example the one just before this one
Who simply said: "Have just return from a 4 night stay at this hotel. All in all it was a very good experience and was very happy with everything.
We got the Terravision from the airport (which is the bus) cost 4 Euro from the airport. Going back was just as easy and it cost 6 Euro- the satff were all helpful.
The hotel is literally 2 minutes walk from the main train station- which has also got some excellent shops in it too! We also travelled on the metro, which was also easy to use- we were just very careful of our bags and purses for pick pockets
The hotel itself was good value for money with a lovely breakfast consisting of cereal, yoghurt, toast, pasteries etc. You can also have a capincino and a hot chocolate - which they will make for you. Occasionally , we had to wait to get a table for breakfast.
The room was ok for what we paid the only down side was that it was very warm in the room and night and that the plug socket was very dodgy!!
Would go back again here"
Not all the review are reliable....
Just one other note. Strange like a such negative feedback come after one year from the supposed (terrible) stay...
Come quietly at the Rimini, we are on the spot since 50 years!! and visit our facebook page to check in real time what we serve for breakfast and how our rooms are kept!!!

We stayed for three nights in this hotel before flying back to Aussie. It is clean, comfortable, very convenient for all transport and very good value. The breakfast is good and included in the price and there is free wifi. We found the staff friendly and helpful

Room Tip: We looked out onto the street but we only heard the occasional shout.

The Rimini is just across the road from the Termini, very handy to get to and from the airport easily and to many of the major sights. Our room even had a balcony but was not usable because of the unfavourable weather. The room itself was more than adequate with plenty of cupboard space and a bureau desk to use a computer. The beds were rather narrow but comfortable nonetheless. The bathroom scored too for its ultramodern shower which could be compared with a cockpit with its numerous controls! Breakfast entailed lots of juices, cereals, cooked meats, boiled and scrambled eggs, cakes, croissants and hot drinks. All in all excellent value for the price we paid.

Room Tip: The 5th floor is where the breakfast room/bar is situated so if a room is booked here you don't...

this was booked as part of a package.we had 2 nights in rome staying at this hotel before going on a cruise.when we arrived the manager was very abrupt telling us our room was not ready and to come back at 2 oclock or we could go up to the sitting room and wait,we thought there would be refreshments there but there was not and we were not offered any,we went out and found a mc,donalds for tea.we had no help with our cases and were on the 5th floor the lift was very small.at breakfast the following morning it was just continental with toast which you had to make yourself croissants jam and marmalade and cereals you even had to make your own tea and coffee what do they need staff for in the restaurant when they dont do any serving.on the day we left whwas en checking out we were told we had to pay 2euros per night per person for tax reasons this we thought was not fair as we paid as a package i would not reccormend this hotel the only good thing was it was a stones throw from the station to get our train for the cruise port.

Moreover when they are genuine and coming from persons who really were our clients!
really "frustrating"£ to answer to such feedbacks...I will try to
1 as all the ageny and tour operators rules specify rooms are available at 100% only after 2 o'clock pm. Since check-out time is at 12.00 o'clock, we should need some time to clean the room...or not?
2 the Buffet breakfast....work this way .anything you want on buffet, you can choose by yourself how to prepare what you want and how mutch you want
3 CITY TAX I totally agree with my clients....but its a TAX coming from our City HAll maybe the correct place for a complain is our City Major office , we are just forced to collect the tax....
To have a full view of our hotel service please just take a look at other review we get.
