This hotel is an utter gem! It's in quiet part of Rome in walking distance of the Villa Borghese and a couple of blocks from the Via Veneto. Service was excellent, rooms lovely and the best lunch we had in Rome was in their rose garden restaurant!!! The garden is a lovely little oasis in the middle of bustling Rome. Service was always with a smile and they got the details right. Recommend this hotel highly..

The hotel is simple, elegant and peaceful. It was a nice place to be at the end of the day. Nice, easygoing staff as well.

Ok, first I need to say that I was unsure about staying at this hotel, some reviews showed it to be in a business district or on busy streets (had to laugh at that one since all streets in rome are busy). In the end I picked this because of its overall price, rating on several sites and location. Arrived at rome by train where we were able to walk to this hotel without problems. The hotel is in a very nice area and you feel secure anytime of day or night you walk out (even more than usual due to the added security of an embassy across the street). There are so many places to eat in the area that no matter what you want to spend you will find someone. One word of advice here, get off the main street and the prices drop dramatically. Now for the hotel. The hotel was outstanding, the room was great and the staff extremely welcoming and friendly. I booked this online and when I arrived found out that the hotel had given me a free upgrade (not saying everyone will get but its nice when it happens). Overall I would recommend this for business and leisure. If I could have given it six stars I would have.

We stayed here for four nights, booked through British Airways, (much cheaper rates) Very clean and in good decor. The rooms are very spacious with a large double bed. Breakfast was buffet style, plenty to choose from, pastries, cooked, cereal, fruit, breads. Helpful and willing staff. We ordered room service on the morning of my birthday which didn't arrive but after a phone call it soon arrived with sincere apologies and free of charge. We were also left a bottle of Champagne on ice in the room on our return from a day out site seeing. The hotel is within walking distance (20-30mins depending on your pace!!) of the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. Also the metro station is a short walk away.

General Manager Gabriele Selci and his staff run a very nice, smart and affable establishment. The staff is very friendly yet professional. The hotel is not stuffy/haughty; rather it is very comfortable - intimate - more informal with good amenities and good food. The location just off the Via Veneto (and next to the American Embassy) makes it quiet, safe yet convenient to shopping and mass transit. You can walk 1 minute to the Westin Hotel taxi stand and the Via Veneto, 5 minutes to the Underground and 15 minutes to the Villa Bourghese and its park. The taxi's know where the hotel is too so you don't have to work hard at explaining where you want to go at midnight...And since it isn't on the Via Veneto itself it is a better value.

All-in-all, we can recommend this hotel to those who want a smaller more intimate hotel with friendly but professional service and a good location at a more reasonable value.
