“LOVED IT!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2012

We loved this hotel....perfect location...very clean and modern.....we were very comfortable. The only thing that could use help was the breakfast. We will definately stay there again when we go back to Rome.

This is not your typical European hotel, this hotel is real chic-romantic jewel!!!
Our room was Fabulous, big comfortable bad, great view from our room out looking the side of the American embassy and the city, big walk-in closet with a mirror, also, I find it strange to give bath rooms a complement but this bath room was done with the finest décor, even the shower had was the raining type if you know what I mean… perfectly white and daily changed bathrobes… every little detail seem to be accounted for us to feel absolutely pampered :)
We are almost sure that the room was cleaned more than once a day!
The breakfast was tasty, but not to get excited about.
The hotel is in the finest living area in all of Rome, and you should know that there is great bus transportation just outside the hotel. Just don't forget to buy tickets before you get on the bus like I did, oops :)
Too bad that the hotel pool was closed for the whole time we stayed there…
If you have any questions I'd be happy to answer through facebook.com
I AM DEFENETLY COMING BACK AGAIN!!!

We stayed at Rose Garden Palace for a week during a family vacation in Rome. Location is quite good, walking distance (20-25 minutes) to Piazza de Spagna and Piazza Poppuli. Great for family travel as breakfast is included and there is a nice (but smallish) swimming pool. Gym is usable. Rooms are clean and decent size for Europe. And you get a robe and a pair of slippers. Overall, good experience.

My wife and I spent three days at the Rose Garden Palace between Christmas and New Year 2011. The hotel was perfect. It is in an excellent location which allows easy walking to any of the main attractions in Rome. The hotel was in very good repair, with excellent room amenities - for example, a small walk-in wardrobe in our standard room. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel, preferring to go out into Rome for that, but the bar was very comfortable and served alcohol :-)
All of the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful - reception desk and bar.
The only negative from our perspective, was that the beds were very firm which aren't to our liking - so our sleeps weren't the best. But that's really personal preference, so doesn't count against the hotel!
Totally recommended.

This very good hotel has a wonderful location off the Via Veneto. It is perfect for business or a city break. I have used it for both.

The rooms are excellent - the standard rooms are jus as good as the superior ones. Very good bathrooms.

Everything is clean and well cared for.

Breakfast downstairs is nice.

The staff are very nice and helpful as regards making reservations and also things like late departures.

This is my hotel of preference in Rome. There are also superb restaurants in the area. I have stayed here about 10 times now and never had a problem.

This is a very good 4-star hotel and beats most 5-star (and more expensive) Rome hotels.

Its our second visit - and while we looked at other hoterls its hard to beat the Rose Garden Palace - its a haven of peace after a busy day shopping and sightseeing - and great to come into the open plan bar and flop into a soft sofa for a glass of Prosecco! On the plus side - the bedrooms are really new and large by Rome standards - bright and airy, chic decor, tall ceilings and spotlessly clean - on the downside - its about a 15min walk to the Spanish Steps - but we just hopped in a taxi. On the last nighe we ate in the hotel and the food was delicious - I'm a bit dubious about hotel menus but this was a great surprise and with only 6 of us in the dining room - we had the chef to ourselves - scrumptious food - and well priced wine - well done Rose Garden Palace.

Expected more from this hotel based on a recommendation as well as Trip Advisor reviews. Agree that the hotel is in an excellent location, less than a block away from Via Vento and short walking distance to the Spanish Steps. However, the staff seemed indifferent and at some points just rude (to the point of rolling eyes) when we asked about various tours in the area or suggestions for dinner. This may be avoided if the hotel were to invest in a conceirge to handle requests. The room was holiday inn-ish at best with outdated bathrooms as well as furnishings. We stayed in a triple room and for 475Euro per night, didn't think it was worth it. Finally, we tended to have alot of bugs flying around the room and not sure where they were coming from, kept us up for most of the night, every night.

On a positive note, the breakfast is lovely and the morning wait staff delightful. We also had drinks in the bar in the evening and again the wait staff was very accomodating and pleasant. If you do decide to stay at this hotel, would recommend that you request a room that does not face the US Embassy, we had to listen to the motor gate open and close day and night and it is quite loud.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms that face the US Embassy
