“Convenient”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2012

Stayed two nights in a room off the lobby. Hotel is located about 5 blocks NW of the Termini train station. The neighborhood is fine. Pros: The room and common areas were immaculate and pleasant, the breakfast good, and the staff friendly, helpful, and attentive. Cons: The room was very small and the bed was hard.

We stayed 2 nights. the position of the hotel is good and the staff are friendly. The breakfast is reasonable. Ask for a room facing away from the street or looking onto the garden. The air conditioning did not work in our room and the hotel was not able to get it fixed in the two days. We could not keep the windows open because the traffic noise is bad.
Overall, the hotel is in a good position and reasonable value.

We stayed only one night in this hotel and were completely satisfied with its great location, cleanness of the room, breakfast, and most of all, quiet and peaceful rest. It's difficult to find a hotel so close to Termini that provides quiet rooms. The rooms face a cute garden and even have balconies.

The front desk manager has a good sense of humor and speaks four languages. He is quick to provide directions and give general advise on navigating Rome.

This hotel is located in a quiet street very near the Termini Station. Staff are quite friendly and helpful. Downside is that the hotel does not have a lift at all. Rooms are adequate and the breakfast buffet offers some cold cuts with the usual thoroughfare. There are 2 breakfast areas. The food however is only located at the cellar area. The are some restaurants around the corner and you will be able to get a decent meal for around 9 to 12 euros. This hotel is good for those on a tight budget.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the courtyard - however you may have to drag your bags 2 floors up as there is...

My wife and I were on a last few days in Europe and Rome was the last stop, so in terms of financially, we are on our limits so when we came across this hotel on the net, we booked for the sake of it value and location. But the staff surprises us with their warmth service and the quality of the room decent and clean, it is bigger than the average hotel in EU as well.
Breakfast was ordinary, down side was there is wireless and elevator in the hotel and luckily i got the room on the second floor next to the stairs, thank god. But with the value, it is as good as it gets. The hotel provide maps for Rome as well.

I stayed with my mother here on our first trip to Rome.
What a wonderful base for a 3 day trip it was.
Its a 5 minute walk from the Termini station and is very easy to see the sights from.
The room was clean, in a good state , with very comfy beds and a nice clean bathroom, nice furniture and a LCD Tv too.
Breakfast was perfectly fine, a buffet, with a lovely and warm welcoming lady who takes care of the drinks and offers any advice you need about seeing round Rome, the food is not gourmet of course but its a perfectly fine breakfast and coffee to fill you up enough till late lunch.
There is a nice little bar to relax in on the sofa and have a drink , and also an outside space to eat in.

The hotel was good, the location is great the price is great
but most importantly the staff are great. Two very friendly receptionists offered plenty of advice with good humour and made us feel at home, there was always someone at the front desk also which is a plus.

Only two things I would change is:
1) Tea coffee making facilities in the room please (but you can go down to the breakfast bar to use the machine)
2) Free Wifi, I paid for the wifi and whilst not a bad fee at 5euro for 5 hours, free would be icing on the cake.

Oh and before I forget, lovely staff even supllied me with a plug adaptor when I forgot to bring my own . Lovely place. Highly recomended for a perfectly comfortable stay in Rome

For a hotel in Rome near Termini, this is an acceptable selction if you are trying to save money. The rooms are small, the bathrooms smaller (and need repairs!)! If you have issues with stairs, this is not your hotel. If you can handle stairs (even after all that walking during your visit!), go ahead and consider this place, though I would put it at the lower end of three stars. It's not... bad... it's just not great for the price - it's ok.

Pros: price; location in relation to train, metro, and bus; fantastically friendly breakfast room attendant; windows that could be opened; the easier-to-clean things were very clean.
Cons: rooms kept warm; small space (if you get a triple, you better be close and comfortable with your roommates!); friendly breakfast room attendant didn't always keep a sharp eye on clearing tables and stocking the counter; bathrooms need work (mildew, grouting).

Room Tip: Definitely try for "garden side". Quieter, especially if you need to open the windows...
