I went to Rome with my mom last Summer 2006, along with the rest of the flight attendants she was working with, since my mom is a flight attendant, and I decided to go along with her since I've always wanted to go to Rome. The hotel we all checked in to is this hotel.
As we checked our room, it was alright. The only thing is it's kinda small. But it doesn't matter, since I was ok about it & just the right room for both of me & my mom. And so, both of us went to the center of Rome & went sightseeing.
Now here's the horrible thing that happened to us. It started raining that afternoon, and both of us were rushing to the shuttle bus to our hotel. Then, when we arrived at the spot of the shuttle bus, we saw some people trying to get in the bus, but were pushed over! I don't know what was wrong, but I guess it's because the bus is so full. So, with people still trying to get in the bus, the bus suddenly left us! I mean, it's not the proper way to treat a guest of that hotel! Don't they realize that someone could get hurt in a very dangerous situation like that, especially in a rainy day, where people are most likely to fall off in a slippery road?
So, what did we do? We just took the other shuttle bus to Sheraton Roma, and from there, we just took a taxi cab to Parco Medici. As we arrived at the Sheraton Roma, my mom convinced me to go along with some of the flight attendants she was working with, who also stayed at Parco Medici. Then, as we arrived at Parco Medici, the flight attendants started complaining like crazy about the hotel's shuttle bus! I want to complain about it too, but I guess it'll be ok in the next day.
Overall, the bus coordination was only the problem. Though, everything went ok in the next day. Staffs in Parco Medici are now checking the guest's card keys to make sure that they really are guests in the hotel.
