This room was so small my knees hit the closet when I sit on the end of the bed. I was able to keep all my luggage (and I had alot) in the closet to keep the walk area clear though. I had to carry my large and heavy bags over a stair way to get to my room. The bathroom was decent sized and nice and clean. The bed was hard as a rock but I was able to sleep anyway. There are two wafer thin pillows so if you want to sit in bed you better have your own pillow. The neighborhood looked a little questionable, but after tooling around Rome for a couple of days I found it was average. The taxis will charge something different everytime you use them even from the same destintion. I didnt have enough time to figure out the public transportation. The front desk is very friendly and got us a good deal to the airport. Breakfast was a good selection of foods for all travelers.

This hotel is not at the central of Roma. You will need to take a 8-10 mins tram from the nearest subway Flaminio, then a less than 5 mins walk from the tram station back to the hotel. From Flaminio stn, you are already at the Piazza Del Popolo - and a 15 mins walk will lead you to Spanish Steps! The hotel is clean & nice, room is small as a standard in Europe. Good breakfast & lovely freshly made crossiants! Staffs are generally very helpful. Overall, a very good hotel with value!

Far enough from the center to be peaceful, but easy access to all the sights.

We booked through an internet consolidator and got a wonderful price (less than 100 euros/night) on this clean, comfortable hotel. It is outside the hustle of the center, but only 1/2 block from a tram that takes you directly to the Flaminio Metro station. Getting from the hotel to the sights of Rome was easy. There are several good restaurants in the neighborhood. It's primarily residential and safe to walk around in the evenings.

Breakfast is Continental, but room service for breakfast is available with American-style breakfasts for an extra charge.

The rooms are clean and comfortable but (like many places in Europe), very small. The shower in our room would be uncomfortable for a large or very overweight person. The reception desk is open 24 hours a day, with friendly and multilingual staff.

We HIGHLY recommend the little neighborhood pizzeria/trattoria across the street (recommended by Villa Glori staff). It was friendly, welcoming, and provided the best meal we ate in all of Rome.

Overall, a quiet and peaceful stay at a reasonable price.

A real gem of a hotel hidden just off the main road, very quaint, but exceptionally comfortable for the price. With in walking distance or Metro and Tram and even the spanish steps were ~20 minutes walk through a lovely part of Rome.
Staying here really felt like you where in suburbia (not tourist ville) but without being anywhere unsafe or at all remote.

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Villa Glori for 4 nights in May. It was a fantastic experience. The rooms are beautiful and well maintained. It is in a great location. Just a tram ride away (5 minutes) to the nearest metro stop where you can reach anywhere in the city. I have stayed in other hotels in Rome that are closer to tourist attractions and I much prefered my time at Villa Glori. The front desk attendants are very charming and willing to help with any information they can. The restaurants surrounding the hotel are really good, but don't expect for anyone to speak English, you'll have to head to a tourist area for that. The breakfast is a little disappointing, but adequate. Next time I'm in Rome, I will head to this hotel without looking anywhere else. Enjoy your stay!
