Just returned from a 3 night stay and would have no worries about staying there again.Staff were helpful and very friendly,Hotel and rooms were spotless and the breakfast of rolls, coissants and jams were more than adequate to start the day.Restaurant and bar do not seem to be used but then Rome is a city to be enjoyed at night as well as the day and you can always stick a few drinks in the fridge in your room.
Although the Hotel is outside the city centre the transport system in Rome is second to none!
The 105 bus stops on the corner of the street on your left about 30mtrs from the hotel entrance and runs to the Termini Station (bus, train, metro underground and open top bus tours)tickets can be purchased from the Tabacco shop about 20mtrs past the bus stop ask for metrobus ticket. The bus runs approx EVERY 5 MINUTES.
Tickets:a BIT ticket allows you to use the bus and metro for 75 minutes from purchase ideal for one way travel and costs 1 euro per person,a BIG ticket is for 24 hours unlimited use on bus and metro and costs 4 euros per person.
The no 3 bus runs from the opposite corner and goes to the Colloseum and into the Traverse area of Rome that isn't covered by the metro.
The open top buses are an ideal way to see the city and we used TOUR ROME who have a 15 minute service leaving the Termini Station opposite where the 105 stops.
Metro very easy to use and a cheap alternative to the open top bus.
