The three of us arrived during the Easter weekend. The location is convenient: near two metro stations: Termini and Vittorio Emanuale, and there are plenty of buses into different attractions within the city center from Termini. It is within easy walking distance to Colosseum. There are a number of supermarkets nearby, one just at the Termini station.

The B&B itself was lovely, clean, quiet, and very comfortable! There was plenty of space, and the pantry is well-stocked with coffee, selection of teas, bread, cereals, jams, and since it was Easter, we had some Easter treats as well.

Pietro and Cristina, the owners, were wonderful. Pietro gave us maps, an itinerary, and advice on buses to catch, and nearby restaurants and gelati shops, which were very much appreciated.

This is not just a "place to sleep"; it is nice place to retreat to after a long day of walking and sight-seeing, and we were made to feel very welcome here.

However, I have to say that in general, the Termini area can get unsavoury after dark and would not recommend this area for the lone female traveller. Travelling in a group is fine.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights this March. We found everything to be wonderful. It was a place where we felt safe. There is a doorman/gardener at the entrance. As previous reviews say the breakfasts were very nice, with homemade cakes. I especially appreciated the use of the kitchen for a cup of tea and a biscuit after a day out sightseeing. We had a small room but the balcony full of beautiful flowers was off our room so we had full use of that. We walked everywhere and the train and buses are very close. We followed all of Pietro's advice and were very happy with what we saw in our 5 days. Both Cristina and Pietro made our stay very Special.

Room Tip: The room with the balcony.

We spent at this hotel 6 days and it was gorgeus! The building and atmosphere are amaizing! Room was bid and clean. Furniture are very interesting. Bathroom was small but clean and there were everything what needed. Breakfast was quite big so we were full till dinner. Basically this is appartment with three rooms (each with bathroom) and one kitchen avaiable. Cristina and Pietro (the owners) are very helpfull and contact via mobile phone or email is easy. They gave us a map of Rome first day and explained everythig. Location is great. Close to termini, but far enough so the neighbour is nice. Close to many famous places in Rome. We walk (!) to Coloseum and Fountain di Trevi with no problems! We strongly recommend.

Dear Cristina&Pietro,

We loved Rome and your very nice hospitality at the end of 2012. Your rooms in your facility is comfortable for a couple and the inside yard of the house is just like an atrium with fountain and golden fishes.
It is close to the city even you can walk to the ancient core of Rome.
Wish you a very successful new year and lots of satisfied guests!

Best regards
Eva&Tibor from Budapest/Hungary

Super easy to find- only a few blocks from Termini station. Pietro waited outside to greet us! Helped with our bags.

The B&B is his family's old apartment so 3 rooms- each with private bath- and communal kitchen, well stocked with cereal, milk, juice, bread, fruit, coffee.

Pietro gave us a map & booklet of current events. Gave us a 3 day itinerary which we followed & was perfect!

Easy 15 min walk to Colosseum, also right near Metro stop for Vatican etc. Pietro is very helpful & is there if you need him.

Super comfy beds! Wonderful. And nice large bedrooms.

Recommeded!
