I stayed at the hotel because I was not visiting Rome, just transiting between the airport and a cruise that left the next day. My luggage failed to arrive at Rome airport and the hotel staff were fantastic at contacting lost luggage, getting them to track the cruise so my luggage could be returned at some other port (it turned up 3 days later in Monaco). They also arranged a taxi to take me to the cruise the next day via Parco Leonardo, so I could pick up some clothes, toiletries etc.
The hotel was very comfortable and great value for money. Meals were good an not expensive but internet access was very bad. I would stay at this hotel next time I'm in Rome primarily due to the great staff and value for money.

We stayedi n this hotel on the way back from the Amalfi Coast to catch a plane to KL.
Out of all the hotels we stayed in Europe and KL this is the only one I have written a bad review about.
The hotel claims it is a 15 minute trip from the airport (must be by helicopter). The cab cost 55 euros and 50 euros for the return fare.
The room on the second floor (despite being a gold SPG member) was the noisiest room we have ever stayed in. It rained during the night . There is a void next to the room and perhaps the rain noise was coming from there. Impossible to sleep and would have insisted on a change at 2am except for the wife.
I complained next day to the receptionist and followed up with an email but no reponse.
Had dinner in the restaurant and the meal was fine but service was hopeless. A very distinct pecking order amongst the staff which was very very poor.
They advertise a shuttle but you really need to read the timetable as it is hopeless.
To close an absolute disaster of a hotel and the management needs to be changed.

Think it is fine for what it is - a large conference/chain hotel on the outskirts of Rome. Don't expect luxury and you won't be disappointed.
We had no problems with the shuttle - which is a large coach, not a minibus (as we had expected). Clearly a popular hotel with large groups of US tourists, who can take over the public areas, audibly and physically.
Our room was fine - we were put into a junior suite which was clean, spacious and modern.
If time is short though, there probably are better options closer to Rome to save time on the coach, but a good safe choice for a weekend break.
We wandered out to eat - right at the end of the row of shops (it's almost banana shaped, so imagine the opposite end to the hotel) we found a fantastic little Italian Trattoria. Cheap, honest homecooked food that was some of the best we ate all weekend irrespective of price. We were the only non-Italians in there and judging by the steady stream of takeaway pizzas and lasagnes being taken home, we were not alone in appreciating it.

A very clean hotel with very heplful staff. Well priced if you can incorporate a weekend deal. The restaurant was fantastic and so were all of the staff. The free shuttle bus never let us down. (15 mins late one day but the traffic was very bad - elections were on and the Pope was throwing a party in the square...) Couldn't master the air conditioning system but not an expert as I live in Scotland. (What is air conditioning anyway?) Nor could we get a movie on screen. The hotel was a 30 - 40 min ride from the city which went in quite quickly, but the cleanliness and restaurant makes it worthwhile. Exec suite and Junior suites were excellent. No problems in recommending this one to anyone.

While the room was spacious and clean, the air conditioner did not get the job done. It was 105 degrees outside, and after 3 days on a Tuscan farm, we were looking forward to some modern creature comforts. The pillows were so hard, they hurt our ears. There was no sound-proofing, as evidenced by the constant noise of a wedding party on our floor. The food in the Apulia Apulia restaurant was one step above Chef-Boy-Ardee, and the coffee was the worst I have ever had anywhere. The wait staff acted inconvenienced by our presence in the dining room. One of them had his cell phone on and answered it several times during our dinner. It was an overpriced disappointment to the end of a wonderful vacation in Italy.
