Think it is fine for what it is - a large conference/chain hotel on the outskirts of Rome. Don't expect luxury and you won't be disappointed.
We had no problems with the shuttle - which is a large coach, not a minibus (as we had expected). Clearly a popular hotel with large groups of US tourists, who can take over the public areas, audibly and physically.
Our room was fine - we were put into a junior suite which was clean, spacious and modern.
If time is short though, there probably are better options closer to Rome to save time on the coach, but a good safe choice for a weekend break.
We wandered out to eat - right at the end of the row of shops (it's almost banana shaped, so imagine the opposite end to the hotel) we found a fantastic little Italian Trattoria. Cheap, honest homecooked food that was some of the best we ate all weekend irrespective of price. We were the only non-Italians in there and judging by the steady stream of takeaway pizzas and lasagnes being taken home, we were not alone in appreciating it.
