The hotel was great, nice rooms, clean and spacious and very reasonably priced. We walked to the attractions and were worn out by the end of the day so you have to use the buses and subways. The hotel will give you the information on where to buy the tickets as it is not easy to figure that out when you are in the city.
But I would recommend the hotel if you don't mind the walking.

After a long trip from Denver, CO, we checked in an were told the only rooms they had were twin beds. We had requested queen or king. Then, there was a street fair right outside our window that began at 5:30 am. Needless to say, no sleep and disappointed with the hotel. Needless to say, it was VERY expensive.

I m will be going to Rome soon but I have yet to finalize my accommodation. I m truly confused as to where the actual center is. Can anyone help?
Also, this hotel...it seems to have good rates and some comments said it is not centrally enough. Um...if via Venetto is not central, than what is??

we stay at this hotel for 3 nights,
the hotel is very good , the rooms are clean and the service was great !
the only 'problem' was , that it was a bit far from the center of Rome, and the people at the reseption didnt know to explain so well about the best way to get to the center,
if you get there, you can walk to the spanish steps - but its about 40min. walk,
it is very close to Villa Burgeza as well. - and it is nice plave to visit !
you can take the bus from the street next to the hotel - but the problem is that this bus is comming once in 30-40min.
if you want a better bus, you should go to Via Po (it is 5 min. walk from the hotel) and there you can find many lines that goes to the center
by the way - the center for me its Via corso.
enjoy - and try to find more then one line of bus that goes to the hotel !!! you will find
