In May I went to Rome for the first time with my husband. A work colleague recommended that we stayed at the Royal Court Hotel and that we would not be disappointed. Well he was right! We were collected from the airport by a chauffeur - free of charge, as we stayed for 3 nights and it was included in the deal. We were overwhelmed with all that this lovely hotel had to offer us. Everything was perfect! - The staff were friendly and polite and only to willing to suggest places to eat and places see, the hotel was a small but very elegant, it was delightful and very clean, we even had a Jacuzzi bath... Heaven!! The location was really good. It was quite close to Termini the main train and bus station. At first we were a little bit worried because of the old reputation about the area being a little bit seedy but this is not the case now. All of the main sites were within walking distance with the exception of a few, which were a little too far, but you could hop on the metro or a bus, which is just around the corner from the hotel. I would without a doubt recommend this hotel to anyone. I think that you get a lot for your money! Although they class it as only a 3*, I would definitely say it was more like a 4*. Rome truly is an amazing city, there is so much to see and do, you would certainly want to return! We do and we will without a doubt stay at the Hotel Royal Court again.

I'm Italian and stayed just a night for working reasons. The hotel would be nice, if only had a better receptionist: there was a guy called Stefano who was utterly careless: made me wait a lot at the arrival for the registration, then tried to make me sign a Visa bill in advance, then gave me a room without light, whose shutters were closed and with a gate, so I asked for another room and he made me wait a longer time, in the meanwhile he was commenting the last football match with a friend on the phone. When asked about a restaurant nearby, he said he didn't know the restaurant and suggested another one, then I found out the restaurant I had been inquiring for was just 20 metres right away.
That receptionist made of my stay at the Royal Court a most disagreeable experience.

Myself and my girlfriend stayed here during January, and we had no complaints whatsoever. It is handily located just a few min from the termini station, from where you can get all over Rome by bus or the metro. The room and en-suite were clean, as was the rest of the hotel. The staff were friendly and courtious. As it was our first visit to Rome, we found the airport pick-up service to be a nice extra. I have reccomended this hotel to my friends, and i have no problem reccomending it to anyone.

We were four. 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We had a queen bed and 2 singles. The room was a nice size for Italy, even though we were a little tight because of the amount of luggage we had( remember 2 teenager girls). The bathroom was lovely with a large jacuzzi tub and very spacious. Our room was beautifully decorated with fabric walls and nice furniture, but the beds were a bit hard. The staff was friendly and the hotel is 2 blocks from the Termini Station. This is very handy if you plan on exploring other parts. Overall it was a nice stay.
