I picked this hotel for its close location to the train station since I would be traveling in and out of there. It is so easy and within walking distance from the train/bus stations. The hotel itself was nice. We arrived before check in, but that was no problem. They check us in and the man at the front desk gave us a few suggestions on where I should start. We went into the room and it was a decent size, but bed took up most of the room, so there was very little walking space or space to put our suitcases. We managed. The bathroom was a decent size, but no matter what we did the floor was always flooded with water after a shower. Just ask for extra towels, it really is no big deal. We ended up booking a tour through the front desk it really is not worth the 120 euros (per person) that we paid. The second day we ended up just getting a daily bus pass and saw what we wanted for however long we wanted. In the tour I felt rushed at some places and we stayed too long at others. The guides were not that engaging either. There was one day that the cleaning staff did not leave any soap in our bathroom (they threw out the one that we already opened) and when we told the front desk about it they said they would fix it, but never did. We had to ask a few times before getting it. Also, got wrong information from the woman that works at the front desk - but thats life. Overall it was a pretty good stay.

We are leaving tomorrow and just completed our stay at this hotel. This hotel is well located in that it is not far from Termini Station and we were able to walk to all the sites we planned on staying while in Rome. The hotel is run very professionally, when we arrived we greeted right away and the staff attended to our luggage while the front desk took care of our check-in. The rooms are well decorated and very clean. The breakfast was a cold/hot buffet. The only thing that was really disappointing about the room is that my husband and I did not have a good night sleep during our three-day stay. The bed was suppose to be a king size bed, but they were to twin beds put together. Also, the bed was hard as a rock, we felt like we were sleeping on the box spring. For the price we paid I would have liked to have had a good night sleep. If and when we return to Rome there are so many other hotels in this area that we will try another one.

The hotel is located a few minutes walk away from the termini station which gives you access to all of central rome. You can walk to all the main attractions (except the vatican) from the hotel as well which we did a few times.

My top tip would be to purchase the roma pass for 23euros each as it gives you 3 days of unlimited metro access and free entry (and less of a queue) for 2 attractions. You can buy it from the post office in the termini station or other places mentioned on their website.

The hotel service was excellent. As we were staying for 3 nights and we booked on the hotels actual website we received a free transfer from the airport to the hotel which made the start of our holiday stress free.

We arrived at the hotel at 12pm (2 hours before check in) but this didnt appear to be a problem. We were greeted by name and asked to have a courtesty drink when they made up our room. We were in our room by 12.15.

We were also given a map which they went through and highlighted all the key areas we might be interested in.

We were in the executive room with jacuzzi bath which was right at the top of the hotel, the only room to be up on the rooftop garden. The room was clean and well presented although the jacuzzi bath was slightly broken with bits missing but it still worked.

The breakfast was ok with a few different choices of pastries, cereals and other breakfast items.

What I liked about this hotel:
The location is very convenient to the train station and good neighborhood restaurants. The room was very pretty (furnishings/style/decor), not typical of 90% of other hotels. Juan Carlo at the front desk was professional; however, on two occasions, when asked a question, he would reply but would turn right back to looking at his PC monitor (Internet). The 2nd shift young lady from Eastern Europe was very sweet, professional, friendly, and attentive. I looked forward to the complimentary breakfast. Also, the breakfast waitress did a great job.

What I did not like about this hotel:
What’s up with the half glass shower partition widespread in European hotels? By the time one finishes taking a shower the bathroom floor is flooded. The air conditioning unit in the bedroom ceiling was loudly vibrating the last three nights we stayed at the hotel. We decided to not bring it to the hotel's attention.

  • Liked — Location and romantic feel of the hotel and room.
  • Disliked — The non-stop loud noise/vibration from the air conditioning unit. (Isolated case)

We just came back from our vacation and Morgana Royal was our stop in Rome. We stayed in a quad room which was decent size because it had 4 single beds. The bathroom was nice and clean. The breakfast was the regular, ham, cheese, pastry, cereal, nice coffee. We ate late around 10:00 so nobody was there. We also took our breakfast to our room. The hotel staff is very friendly specially Alexandria. It is very near Termini which made our life so much easier.
