The room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast convenient and the staff friendly and really helpful. This hotel is a compromise between value and location, because the quality of the service is right up to the 4-stars standards.

The hotel is 30 minutes walking distance from the Spanish steps, however, the public transport service is very convenient:

Termini station: 3 minutes walking to the bus stop and 15-20 minutes commute
City centre (Foro Imperial/Romano): 3 minutes walking to the bus stop and 20 minutes commute
Vatican City: 6 minutes waling to the tram stop and 25 minutes commute.

Please note all services run 8-0:00 and that there are night services.

Please note there are several restaurants, convenient shops and ice cream shops at walking distance from the hotel.

The hotel terrace and balcony are marvelous places to chill-out after a complete day.

I would recommend anyone both for business (Internet connection is pretty good) or leisure.

gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous! Brigit Bardot stayed here! The hotel is beautiful, some rooms have balconies, the breakfast is amazing, the staff was wonderful, helped us book our bus tours, gave us maps and helped us find the city bus, had very reasonable room service, elevator. is outside the Aurelian walls, so a little far from the major attractions, nothing major within walking distance, but 5 block walk to bus stop, and you can go anywhere; not many people outside the hotel speak english in rome, so learn how to say "do you speak english" in Italian. felt safe walking, even at night with just 5 women. definitely book the guided tours by Appian, we took 3 in one day, the lunch break between the morning and afternoon tours was great at Cafe RomanTica. The staff could not have been more helpful. Made us dinner when i injured my leg, and we ate in the breakfast room as they served us. reasonable. lovely orange trees on property, outside courtyard to dine. friendly. catacombs de priscilla on same street within walking distance.

  • Liked — beautiful and friendly
  • Disliked — not within walking to say, trevi or navonna

The night we arrived to the hotel we were supposed to get quadruple room which was stated we've got...
If you can imagine motel 6 smallest room with queen size bed, and in addition to that two!! twin beds that were squeezed together and a living space of 1 foot between those beds, you would have a very clear idea of Panama Garden Hotel rooms that are located on the 5th floor! Add to that temperature of 94 dergees inside and you have it complete.
I was slighlly puzzled when we were offerred to keep our luggage in the lobby for the duration of our stay, but the minute we've got to the elevator that doesn't allow more than 2 people at a time due to its size and the space in the room, I came to understanding of that offer.... I have never been claustrofobic, but I think I have a better understanding of it after been in that elevator.
Airconditioner wasn't working, bathtub was leaking every drop of water to the floor, the bathroom smelled of sewer....
It was awfull!!!!!
After multiple complaints to the front desk, we were moved, on our last day, to the room that you see on the website............
I've been to many places and hotels, and I would say that this hotel with its "hospitality" is eliminated from my places of interest forever. I like to get what I am paying for.

WOW! I was impressed for a three star hotel; this hotel was better than most 4 stars hotel we stayed during our trip. We stayed at this hotel one night in a triple room. This hotel had new stylish and trendy furniture in the lobby and was nested in a quiet upscale residential neighbourhood. The room was very clean with mini bar at price that was reasonable. Satellite TV, Room service with good menu at very reasonable price. The room was newly decorated. The Breakfast was good.
The staff was helpful and spoke perfect English.
We stayed at this hotel at the end of our trip and were really glad we did as we were extremely tired.Great experience.
The Hotel is not located on the Subway line. Its one bus away from Termini (Bus 86 or 92).Its a little bit of a walk with luggage from the bus stop to the hotel but the hotel makes it all worth it!
I would really recommend for couple looking for a quiet time.

  • Liked — Its romantic touch
  • Disliked — Location is not perfect but hotel and calm makes it all worth it...
