Stayed there nearly one week in August and we were surprised at the staff behaviour: it's difficult to believe that a four stars hotel has such a rude and unprofessional personnel!!
Let's start with the pros: the rooms are nice and clean, the hotel location is very good (next to Villa Borghese park, few minutes to Piazza Navona).
And now the cons: the entrance is quite confusing, there are some stairs and never a bell-boy outside to help you if you have your baggage, the front desk staff is slow and unprofessional (when we checked in there were some people coming in and out the back office without even caring about all the guests waiting in the lobby), a maid entered our room although we put the "Do not disturb" paper out of our room door; the breakfast is very poor and, rather ridiculously, ends at 10:00 am despite all the people were on leisure trip..
Is it enough? No, it isn't, because they would be minor inconveniences if only the staff was a little more careful and kind! At the reception and in particular in the breakfast room, the staff (very often without wearing name badge) is extremely impolite and unprofessional!
On the 15th of August, which is a national holiday, a girl at the reception told us, in a brusque way, without even raising her head from what she was doing, that everything was closed and there was nothing to do in Rome that day (actually, it was just the opposite!); at the check-out a boy with a very unfriendly manner, although being informed that we were waiting for a private car to pick us up, didn't do anything when the driver asked for us (finally, we met him by chance). Not to mention the rudeness of the personnel in the breakfast room...
To sum up, we were astonished at their behaviour, especially in a very welcoming city as Rome is!
