We stayed one night in Rome because our flight left so early the next morning after a week in the Tuscany region. We had two rooms, both of which were twins. They were both clean and comfortable with small balconys with doors that opened. We felt safe and secure and the front desk staff was helpful and friendly and arranged airport transportation (van w/ driver) for us the next morning. The continental breakfast buffet was included and was well-stocked and fresh. The service was good. We had absolutely no complaints. One of the rooms had a larger tub/shower combo which was more desirable than the other which just had a shower. We had reserved queens but in order to check in earlier than regular check-in time we agreed to take the twins. The linens on the beds were superb - very crisp and clean. The bathroom was well stocked. The room was a little warm and the hotel A/C was not available this time of year but with the doors open it was fine. I'd return to this hotel. It was close to the coliseum and other interesting sites.

The front desk staff are extremely unhelpful and unfriendly, bordering on being rude to guests. The location is near the termini, but the surrounding area is unsafe. We were being mugged by walking from the termini to the hotel in the evening. The room is also small and dark. Amenities are adequate, but are not worth the price we have to pay. For the same price, you can get better services than the hotel staff are willing to provide.

We were on our honeymoon and were taking the cruise liner from Civitevecchia, we stayed at Bettoja Hotel Nord Nuova Roma for a few days in order to tour Rome.

The hotel is close to the Termini Station and also the bus station so that was a big plus! The first room which we were given had an a/c unit which did not work so we were moved to another room which was a lot better than the first, it actually seemed to be an upgrade.

The staff were friendly, rooms clean and our upgraded room was fine. The breakfast was continental with cold meats etc, as is the case with most european hotels, but it was fine for what it was.

Stayed at Bettoja Hotel Nord Nuova Roma in September 2008 for 2 nights prior to a Mediterranean cruise. It is near the Termini station; the neighborhood is better as you move away from the Termini station. It's a simple 3-star hotel with basic room accommodations, clean, and simple. Breakfast is included and served on the main floor including breads, cereal, cheese, meats, jams, coffee, tea, etc. The nicest spot is the roof deck for a quiet drink and an incredible view. The lobby has Internet access computer available. Tourist places such as Spanish Steps and Trevi fountain are within walking distance, although bring your quality walking shoes in Rome. I would recommend this hotel to visitors for a short stay in Rome, looking for simple and clean accommodations. For a 4-star stay, the Bettoja has a sister hotel less than 3 minutes away.
