The hotel looks like it in the middle of knowwhere but actually it's pretty good! Lovely for families with cars.
It has a giant supermarket next door and round the corner from the main road "Prestina" which takes you straight into Rome.
Service there is very good, most hotel staff are English speaking.
Hotel has big rooms but is basic & nice breakfast so you need to bring food back with you from Rome centre to eat in the evening.
They say it's really noisey & agressive if you stay in Central Rome so we were glad we stayed here. We hired a car which also helped & to take a map with you & make your own directions to the hotel then you have no probs at all!
Rome is really nice & the people are really friendlt & helpful would definately go back again!

Our first impression when arrived in the hotel was that we are doomed to never see Rome!!!! It gives you the impression that is far far away from the city center. The truth is that it is not more than 5 minutes as long as you have a car. For us who were using taxi this hotel proved to be the wrong choice because all our money went to taxis. Apart from the location issue it was a nice hotel, clean and not very expensive with helpful staff. Breakfast wasn't anything special either.

My wife and I stayed here for three nights. The staff in general were
helpful and cheerful, breakfast was good, room was very clean and the
air con was a blessing as the temperature was 96F! The hotel was in the middle of nowhere byt transprt was good. The 451 bus is an excellent frequent service, but you have to fight your way past prostitutes after mid-afternoon to get to the hotel across some wasteland!

We've just returned from a weekend in Rome, 15th-18th June 07, where we we spent three nights at this hotel. The staff were helpful and courteous. The facilities were what you would expect from Holiday Inn Express with one exception - no kettle in the bedrooms! If you want tea or coffee you need to buy it at the bar. There's an adequate buffet breakfast included in the room cost.

The hotel location is a bit remote, 20 -25 minutes on the underground and another 10 in the free minibus.
The bus waits outside the left side entrance to the station [your left when facing the city centre].

The surrounding area is under development and will probably look quite different in a couple of years. Meantime its a bit of a sight with graffitti on every available space, but then almost the whole of Rome seems to be somebody's scribbling pad!

There is a large supermarket immediately beside the hotel and a street of local shops on the far side of the supermarket. The only eating places we found were Pizzerias. The one we used each night served good, inexpensive Italian food and the staff were delighted to try out their English language to explain the menu.
