Certainly brilliant location and clean, fairly comfortable hotel but quite basic really for over £200 a night(inclusive of breakfast and taxes). Staff polite but not particularly engaging and rooms did not have a basic welcome/information leaflet. Not quite sure what made it a four star and not three. Breakfast was reasonably as was the lunch buffet which we had once. Selling point is the location!

Dear Nikeexplore,

I would like to thank you very much for your important comments regarding your experience at the Hotel delle Nazioni.
I am sorry to learn that some of our staff was not enough helpful with you. I can assure you that your comments have been the focus point of a meeting with our staff, and that we will hardly work to avoid similar feelings in the future.
As far as the Information Leaflet is concerned, you can find them at the reception desk, together with maps and informations on the major events in town.
The importance of your reviews is that they can really help us in improving our quality, and your review really gives us some interesting points we should work on.
Thank you again for the time you spent; I do hope I will have the possibility, in a future, to welcome you again in Rome.

Sincerely yours

My boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel delle Nazioni over Labor Day. We stayed for 7 nights and had an amazing time. We got in late on Saturday night and the Concierge was literally waiting for us (or made it seem that way) and was welcoming when we arrived; he even knew our name. Our rooms were clean and in an absolute perfect location. Literally 30 seconds from Trevi Fountain, 5 minutes from the Spanish Steps and shops, and about 10-15 minutes from the Coliseum. We never had to take a bus! It was about a 15 minute walk to the Pantheon and about 20-25 from Piazza Navona.

The hotel was lovely. Our first night we stayed in a room facing the street and it was a bit noisy as there is some construction going on across the way. We talked to the front desk and they moved all our stuff for us when we were out and about; our new room faced the courtyard and was fabulous. Everything was fantastic. The breakfast was great and the day after arriving we were super jet lagged so they even brought us a tray so we could load up and take it back to our room. Overall the staff really tried to accomodate us as and did so on every front. They even let us emailed our tour tickets and then printed them for us.

We would absolutely stay here again the next time we're in Rome; everything about the hotel was exceptional.

An excellent hotel. My mother and I found the staff quiet but very efficient and friendly with any queries. Try some Italian, they'll help with pronunciation!

Our room, Room 218, appeared to be the only one with an outside seating / terrace area, which was a great bonus as it was both shady and quiet, facing in towards the central courtyard away from the street. It balanced out the quite dark nature of the room itself, although we didn't really mind this at all.

Bathroom and shower size was ample (and I'm not small!) and breakfast was good apart from their awful coffee machine. One thing to make clear, as I was confused by earlier reviews, is that the hotel has a restaurant and bar attached to it, although we didn't get round to trying it.

I would absolutely recommend this hotel to others and, in fact, have already done so.

Recently Spent 5 nights at the Delle Nazione . As most people have said , the location is spot on. about 30 seconds stroll from the Trevi Fountain and not far from any of the other major locations either. Metro station (barberini) about 5/10 mins up the road if needed. Room size good & the safes are free to use. Reception staff were great & the breakfast has everything you need to set you up for the day - usual continental + eggs & bacon for those who like something hot. Has a little supermarket just opposite for any essentials needed before a days sightseeing & once the shutters are closed , all noise is gone so no probs sleeping. Would stay here again as 1st choice, no question.

I stayed at the Nazioni for my boyfriend and I's first trip to Rome and chose it based on its central location. Its location is great and no more than 30-45 minutes walk from the main attractions. Our room was small, and the beds quite hard as you usually get in European countries, but it overlooked an inner courtyard so we had no noise.

As mentioned in other reviews, the breakfast is not amazing but did the job. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant as it seemed quite expensive, but being in such a central area there is plenty of choice nearby. The staff were all friendly, and happy to help if it was needed.

I would definitely stay here again.

Dear Crazyseg,

I am very happy to learn that you chose our hotel in occasion of your first visit to Rome. I am pleased to learn that you enjoyed your stay with us, as well as our perfect location.
As far as the restaurant is concerned, we offer many dishes at various prices. Every day, for example, we offer a Buffet Lunch (with a choice of two pastas, two/three maincourses, many vegetables, salads, cheeses, omelettes etc) at a fixed rate of € 13,00 per person. On the day of your arrival, you should have also received a coupon that gave you the possibility, on that day, to taste a Special Welcome 3-course Roman Menu at a fixed cost of € 25,00 per person.
Then, obviously, our location allows you to choose between many and many restaurants which are all located in the centre of Rome. In this connection, I would like to give to you and to all our readers a little advise: sometimes it happens that there are restaurants (mainly in the centre of Rome) that offer a Touristic Treatment: perhaps a good price, but the quality is cometimes not so good. Of course, it does not mean that all restaurants are touristic ones; there are many good choices in the nearby. Our concierges or a good guide can help you in this matter. Our restaurant, on teh other hand, offers a very good quality; our menus are not made for foreign people, and many italians choose every day our restaurant because of its quality.
I would like to thank you for having given me the opportunity of discussing about this important aspect of a holiday.
Thank you again for your nice words on our hotel and for having been our Guest. We do hope to see you again,

Sincerely yours
