“Great Location!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2014

Stayed here for 3 nights in May, ending a fabulous month long vacation in Italy. Room was fine - decent size for city center, clean, but a bit dark. A few more lamps or brighter bulbs would have been great. Room overlooked lane which made it possible to listen to the evening entertainment from the restaurant. Singer was great, but apparently didn't change up his program - same set for 3 nights! LOL

WiFi - free, but sporadic at best and it kept making me login … again and again and again. A minor annoyance, but an annoyance.

Breakfast - fine. Plenty to choose from.

Front desk! HUM … I laughed out loud at the review mentioning the young girl at the desk. Must have been the same one I saw. Thought she was going to fall over in a dead faint when I said "Buona sera" - just stood there staring at me. Maybe she was just nervous? As for the rest of the staff - mostly men - I wouldn't exactly call them rude, just not warm and fuzzy. Let's be honest, when we're on vacation we like warm and fuzzy ... I pay you money and you make believe you appreciate it! ;)

Would I stay here again? Yup! All in all, it's a nice hotel in a great location.

Room Tip: If you don't like listening to entertainment until 10-11pm, certainly ask for a "quiet room...

Fabulous hotel near the Trevi Fountain. Wonderful staff, very efficient. Lovely rooms, my one overlooked a courtyard and was very quiet and clean. Bathroom with modern facilities. Breakfast was good. Restaurant attached to hotel also has great food with an entertaining singer.
Easy access to monuments and hop on off bus. Lots of restaurants nearby.

I have probably been here at least 18 times over the last 10 years, I frequently visit Rome on Bussiness. It has a great location just 50 meters from the Trevi fountain, and. Price which is very affordable. Rooms are generous and very clean, staff is Amazingly friendly which is the catalyst which brings me back time and again. Great breakfast with plenty of variety. Definitely worth a try, it has me going back time and again.

This is our third stay at this hotel but it is only the location and the friendly staff that keep us coming back.

Their website says the hotel has recently been refurbished but it looks the same as it did 9 years ago when we first came here. Also there is still no free wifi which is ridiculous.

The breakfast is very poor for this grade of hotel and I travel a lot in my job across Europe. At least the location means you can wander the town and come back at the end of the day with only a short walk from any of Rome's major sites just don't expect a nightcap, the bar seems to shut anytime from around 10.30pm and the minibar says alcoholic drinks have to be ordered from room service which also stops at 10.30.

Finally don't be tempted by their offer of a lift to the airport, all the public taxis have a fixed fare to the airport, €48 to Fiumicino, but the hotel want €65.

Location 5 stars, staff 4 stars, the hotel condition 3 stars, the food 2 stars, the prices for additional services minus 1 star

Stayed here before and after a cruise out of Rome. Had rooms 115 and 304. Found the staff helpful and friendly. Arrived from the airport(FCO) just before 9am tired from the flight from Atlanta and although check in wasn't for another 5 hours they had a room ready for us before 10am. Rooms typical for Italy, not the box in America hotels. Quiet, comfortable, and clean. Everything a traveler needs is steps away, ATMs(50ft from front door), Despair supermarket(1block north), dozens of restuarants within five minute walk, taxi stand just outside, several main bus stops within 2 minute walk and the Trevi fountain at the street corner just to the south. WiFi in room a little glitchy using an iPad but not that important to me when on vacation. Housekeeping staff was excellent, always cleaned when we had stepped out in the morning. Liked the ability to open a window for fresh air and hear the sounds of the city, yet still had privacy with the shutters if needed. Breakfast was very good, wide selection of foods, but the downside was no coffee available before 7, early risers have to wait or go out.

Room Tip: Standard rooms (like rm. 304) adequate if traveling with 1 or 2 suitcases but if you need a large cl...

Stayed here from May 5th for 1 week with my partner. The hotel is very basic with small rooms, however it was spotlessly clean. The best thing about this hotel is the amazing location. It is a stones throw away from the Trevi fountain and close to all of the main shopping streets. The WiFi can be a bit sporadic at times in some of the rooms i've heard, we didn't have much of a problem with it.

In terms of the staff, I didn't find them rude at all. Don't get me wrong, they didn't fall over themselves to greet us everytime we saw them but on no occasion did I find them to be rude. Whenever we had an enquiry they politely obliged in helping us.

I would definitely stay here again as it is a lovely charming hotel in an ideal location. If you're looking for something unsual/spooky to see in Rome visit the Capuchin Crypt.
