it's close to everything, we never used public transportation, just enjoyed our walks. Nice and fulfilling breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff

Tho best thing in this hotel is site. It is close to every thing you want to see in Rome. Staff were nice & friendly. Room were clean. TV was a problem for me, as there is no English channels at all, only Italian. This is not acceptable nowadays, as we want news ASAP, so I turned to Internet. Also I have a problem as it is limited to 4 hrs per stay, and I have to set next to the door of the room to get the signal or in the lobby. The worst was the shower, water does not mix well (cold & hot), so you suddenly have very cold water followed suddenly by hot or very hot. I could not take a normal shower it was difficult.

Room Tip: some rooms have only small standing showers About 65 cm space, so if you want a tub ask for it. Avoi...

Perfectly situated only 100 meters from Fontana di Trevi, bus stop, a large grocery shop and taxi station. You can walk to most of the best sights like Forum Romanum and Colleseo in 20-25 minutes Large breakfast with lots of fruit. Clean large rooms with marble bathrooms and safety box. Soundproof, traffic on Via Tritone didn't bother us at all. Helpful staff.

This hotel is very central. The staff are very friendly and go out if their way to help. I go to Rome practically every year and always stay at this hotel. This time the room I was allocated was overlooking a street where works were gong on but once I complained the room was changed immediately. I highly recommend this hotel especially to travellers who are unable to walk long distances as this hotel is situated clos to great sights.

We picked this hotel primarily on location, having stayed between Termini and the forum on previous visits. On checkin, the receptionist spoke English and although not 'warm' she was certainly efficient. A porter took our bags to the room. We were given vouchers for a complimentary drink in the adjoining bar/restaurant.
The room was a standard room, but was a decent size (how big do you want it when you have the best city in the world literally on your doorstep?), as was the bathroom. Window had external and internal shutters, and double curtains. Table with lamp, 2 x bedside lamps, and a plug at each side handy for chargers. Bath was a great size, and although not a power shower it was more than adequate.Large mirror but slightly disappointing hairdryer.Good AC.
Location-wise it could not be better. Probably marginally close to Barberini metro but we used Spagna which was about 10 mins walk away. Trevi fountain is literally 30s away. 10 mins walk to Piazza Navona via Pantheon, 10 mins to Piazza Venizia. We walked to St Peter's in about 30-40 mins.
Breakfast was great, selection of meat/salad/pastries/bread/fruit/cereal and (surprisingly) egg and bacon. Can't comment on the adjoining restaurant for dinner as we thought it looked expensive so we didn't go.
Watch out for the city tax collected at check-out (standard in Rome). This should be paid cash, but as we had run out of money we were allowed to pay by card.
Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Stayed here for 4 nights on a family recommendation and were not disappointed!
It's location is spot on! Literally around the corner from the Trevi Fountain and within easy walking distance of central Rome sights and shopping and dining! Perfecto!
The rooms are a reasonable size for a major city and are spotlessly clean! We even had clean bed linen every day! Now how often does one get that? Bathrooms are a good size and have all one needs.
Our room (309) overlooked the Piazzi Poli and Via de Tritone, which was on the noisy side, but there were shutters and double windows to reduce the noise level, so I'd ask for a room overlooking Via Poli if you want a quiet room.
There is 4 hours total free wifi which was all we needed but maybe not enough for others.
The only downsides were the breakfast and the American bar!
They were a real surprise in what is otherwise a great hotel!!
The latter is styled on the American concept of a coffee shop/bar, but it was soulless and had no atmosphere. The service was attentive and friendly but the place was almost empty and one could see why! It wasn't somewhere you wanted to have a nightcap!
The breakfast certainly does need some review and attention! It was dreadful!
One of the worst we've experienced anywhere and not what one expects from 4 star accomodation!
They only offered one type of bread and "yesterday's" was put out for toasting!
There were croissants and Danish, but they looked very sweet and 3 types of meat and 1 cheese just wasn't good enough!
The "hot" selection of scrambled eggs and "bacon" was lukewarm at best! Yes, they had a couple of pots of yoghurt and fruit but that looked well past it's sell by date!
The coffee was dreadful and came from a dispenser and was as untypical Italian as one could get!
Service was a bit on the sullen side and they tended to hide away rather than be present - and there were enough of them!
Both these aspects let the hotel down, but could easily be rectified with review and action.
Still, one can eat elsewhere and have a nightcap in any one of the local bars around the hotel!
Would most certainly go back as its perfect in so many other aspects! Try it out, it really is that good!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Very convenient for most of Rome's major sights. The room was OK and as we spent most of our time out and about, it was really just a place to sleep. We liked the breakfast; the reception staff were quite helpful.
