Owesome property,
Ideal location to visit the city and for the shopping. The hotel is located in Spanish steps, the heart of Rome, crucial place for the shopping (my wife love it) with the major brands all around within few steps.
To visit the major attractions you no need to go anywhere else you are already there!
The Staff of the Hotel,extremly helpfull, will drive you throught your personal experience in the city. By using their tips when the evening will come you wll be already under the spell of one of the most beautifull city in the world.
Coming back at the hotel i found romantic the view on the spanish steps late a night.
Overall good value for the money.
I will certenelly come back.

This hotel is all about location. If you want to stay within the shopping triangle, surrounded by glamour and glitz, this is the place for you. Nestled next to Prada, you couldn't ask for a better spot. One block from the metro and walking distance to most of the sights.

However, when I come back from a day of shopping and sightseeing, and am paying as much as I am for a night in a hotel, I want a comfortable bed. What I got was several nights of sleeping on a box spring, with coils sticking me every time I moved. After I was told my room rate was being increased for the weekend, I complained bitterly to the staff. I was given a withering look and told the beds were "orthopedic beds". Whatever that means. They placed a foam pad on the bed which helped to cushion the springs but I was rather disappointed overall with the size of the room, the furnishings and the amenities.

I paid half as much for a room (that was also next door to Prada) in Florence and slept much more comfortably. Research your options and instead of paying through the nose for this hotel, find a cheaper place so you have money to shop with!!

We stayed at the Inn at the Spanish Steps in late August. Their driver was waiting for us at the airport as promised, which was nice after an 11 hour flight. Upon arrival at our hotel we were informed that because another guest had to change their travel dates (due to a sick baby - long story about hospitilization ensued), our room was not available but we would be put in the Inn's "small apartment" for the night. We were so exhausted at that point we agreed.

After a 3 block walk lugging our suitcases over cobbled streets, we colapsed on the rock hard bed in our little apartment. After a freezing cold shower (due to poorly functioning boiler) I demanded a new room, and was promised an upgrade the following day.

Long story short, we were upgraded, but the experience left a sour taste in our mouth. We would not stay here again, nor would we recommend it to others. The location was great, but beware if you're a light sleeper, as the street noise at night woke me frequently.

I just got home last night from Rome and staying at this hotel, let me just say, only one good thing about it, the location that's it, we were in France,and Italy for 14 days before this and stayed in three other hotels, and this was the only one we did not like. I always look at reviews to make my decision and I just needed to say I did not like the hotel and the service was ok, Franco greeeted us and offered us an upgrade so we took it right over the street, extremely loud all night, so we went back to our original room and cheaper price which he said he would not charge us more for the one night we upgraded but when we checked out he changed his mind. Oh well, I just had to say this, because we wished so much we would have stayed somewhere else.....The whole hotel needs an overhaul, for the price not woth it at all. Even if they did, we would not go back too because of the service.
