“easy access from metro, good place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2014

we stayed 2 nights, it is small place right off the piazza outside the metro, unfortunately Rome metro isn't that useful only used to go from airport and to Vatican. walking distance to colloseum and pantheon. free breakfast buffet was pretty standard for other places in Italy juice pastry prosciutto, room was free upgraded 4 levels to jr suite which was small by us standards but big average for Europe. nice cal king bed. did not regret staying here but the restaurant recommendations by desk were terrible.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2014

My husband was on business, and I travelled with him for a few days with our baby boy (aged 10 months) to see Rome. And what an amazing city!!

The Inn is located at the most perfect spot, in the middle of the shopping district, with many great restaurants and most major sights within a walking distance.

I arrived alone with our son, and was greeted with a complimentary room upgrade and the most helpfull and friendly staff. The check-in part was easy and the staff helped with the luggage and stroller (there are stairs to the reception and elevator) and entertained our baby boy, who loved the attention :-)

The room was very well decorated, spacious, clean and with a view to Via Condotti and the Spanich steps (when leaning a little out the window). We had a baby cot placed for our son, that was perfect.

In the early evening we enjoyed a complimentary snack buffet (when you have pre-dinner drinks at the hotel) at the top floor, next to the roof top terrace, which is good, as you usually dine quite late in Italy.

For dinner we went to Il Gabriellos a few streets away, that I can only highly recommend as well! We had the best lobster linguini, and even had the 'company' of Hollywood star Jake Gyllenhall, who also dined at the restaurant while filming in Rome. But remember to book in advance.

As the name of the hotel suggests, it is located with the Spanish steps at the end of the street, but many other sights are close by. We took a stroll, where we experienced the romantic and cosy narrow streets and piazzas of historic Rome. We saw the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Jewish quarter, and crossed the river of Tiber to have lunch in beautiful Trastevere.

The breakfast at the hotel is also great, with a classic buffet, but with freshly made caffe latte and a freshly squeezed bloodorange juice to top it.

All in all a great few days in Rome, and we will not hesitate to stay at this hotel next time we will go to Rome.

A big thank you to the staff for a perfect stay at this true little gem of a hotel in the heart of Rome!

We stayed there for 7 nights with a 2,5 years old and would definitely go back there again in future.

It's 3 minutes walk from Metro where you can take a ride to Colosseo, Foro Romano, Vatican City, Vatican Museums, Termini Station (if you will take train to other Italian cities). We found busses our little easier with stroller because of many steps of Metro and there are many busses pass right next to Hotel. There are lots of great restaurant&cafes around and it's surrounded by many fashion shopping streets which makes streets crowded and safe. It gets empty pretty early on some streets but around this hotel was fine. It's short walking distance to many touristic places you will mostly see.

It was the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in Rome. We always stay good hotels in good location but there is mostly dust here and there but this hotel was spotles and bug free what was most important for me.

It's not a handicapped friendly hotel because of 10 steps to the elevator at the entrance and 10 steps to the rooms after elevator and 10 steps to the breakfast area but if wasn't impossible for families with stroller since I was with my 67 years old mom and she couldn't helped me at all so if I can do it everybody can do it.

Bar at the 5th floor offers free fresh milk 24 hours a day so we didn't had to look for a market where we can buy fresh milk for my son and they were heating up the milk as well. They are so sensitive as well, especially a gentleman named Noel was washing his hands before he touches to my son's milk bottles. Breakfast was delicious even for Turks where we look for olives and cheese for the breakfast, they were not available as a typical European restaurant but other various options were great. On top of all delicious food there were free fresh fruit juice everyday.

Receptionists were all very friendly, showed me how to reach places I would like to go, give me metro station names, bus numbers, maps..etc.

Don't even check other hotels, just stay here if they have availibility.

The place is great, right over Cafe Greco and a few steps from piazza spagna.
They upgraded us to a big and very confortable room with a view to the spanish steps.
Breakfast is very good in a terrace full of orange and lemon trees.
Karina in the recption was very helpfull and Flavia made a great work with our reservation.

This little hotel is certainly in an extremely convenient location, but we found that, for the price, it was fairly average. The rooms are a good size for a hotel in a historical city centre, but the bathrooms are a bit dated and lacked the 'luxe' element. Small details such as the little office where check in and check out takes place does not have even a small bunch of fresh flowers or a little jug of water to enjoy on arrival. The breakfast spread is adequate but not special, we had several pieces of crockery with little chips and nicks, thick glasses for breakfast juice that were always warm from the dishwasher. None of these issues are big problems, but the lack of attention to detail detracted from the overall experience.

I've traveled quite a bit and stayed at many 5 star establishments but I must say the corner suite in the view is truly an amazing room.

I was extremely pleased with the room, service and obviously the location which had an amazing view of the Spanish steps - close up!

The staff are friendly and perfect. By far one of the best hotels I have stayed at.

It is a little pricey.
