i was there for the last 2 days of my italy trip i travelled to rome from florence. there was no clear instruction on how to travel from rome city to the hotel( except for taxi) shuttle stop in the city does not have a sign at all and it is very far away from the train station and it is not any close to piaza venezia. it will be very hard to find the way to get to the shuttle stop if you havent traveled with the shuttle before. shuttle from hotel to city runs every hour and half and it has to be prepaid/booked. coz it could be full and you will have to wait for 1.5 hours for the next bus. shuttle bus from the city to hotel is free and its 1.5 hours wait for each bus.

interent is free in the lobby but there are only a couple of coputers avaliable. room internet access is about 12 euro a day.

required queen bed but 2 single bed was provided and the rooms are too full that you cant change it to a queen bed.
1 bottle of water is provided complementary for each guest but if you need hot water its 8 euro.

the highlight for my stay is the buffet breakfast. the breakfast is 5 star hotel standard and it has a wide range of food to choose from.
however you might have to go at the right time to avoid the queue and rush hours. and the door staff might reject your entry because your name or room number isnt on the list. while you actually paid for your breakfast when you book the hotel.

last of all.
when i did check out my name was totally wrong and address doenst make sense. it was a china address with australia in the end. so make sure you check your name and address are right.

Location is inconvenient, some quirks, but as close to a good soft bed as you'll find in Italy.

My wife has back issues, so when we read this Sheraton had the Sweet Sleeper mattresses, there was only one choice. The rooms are nice and large by European standards and the mattresses are as advertised, although the bathroom drains were slow. It is not possible to select heat or air conditioning from your room - you get what the hotel feels is appropriate for the season and you only can control the speed of the fan blowing their choice of cool or hot air. As a result, our rooms were extremely hot for most of our stay.

We used the hotel's shuttle service to the city center, which cost 3 Euros, but the second day the driver dropped us off at a completely different location than the previous day and, since he spoke only Italian, he was unable to understand our questions or to tell us where we were. The third day, we were dropped off at yet another location. Some people said the city bus service ran by the hotel, but there was some question as to whether the stop was in a safe area. I should point out the the city center where the shuttle drops off is exclusively a business area and not near any attractions, so you still need to catch cabs or buses to get to anything you want to see. Return to the hotel on the shuttle is free, but the return trips are 90 minutes apart and pick up only in the business center - not really the greatest area after dark. So, we took the shuttle into Rome every morning and just took cabs home.

Since we are Starwood members our room included the free breakfast buffet, which was incredible - everything from eggs and bacon to fruit and cereal. A great way to start a day of sightseeing without having to leave the hotel.

If you can handle a hot room and jumping through some hoops to get to the wonderful attractions Rome has to offer, this hotel may be for you.

Standard Sheraton. Neither delighted or dissappointed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bizarre digital signature procedure on check in. Room very average, some broken furniture. Very good conference facilities and liberal smoking area outside the bar. Previous comments about location are about right, but in the summer you'll be pleased to be out the centre.

We stayed at the hotel for one night prior to our med cruise. We found the hotel to be clean and fine for a one night stay. We arrived early but the hotel accomodated us by checking us in early. We had a room on the first floor which was of ample size but possibly a little dated. I have heard that some of the other floors have been refurbished already. We found the gym to be updated with various pieces of equipment. It was very clean and there was a great water cooler by the entrance. The free internet in the lobby was great also. Transportation into Rome central was a little inconvenient. If staying in Rome for a few days I would recommend in town..but for one night the hotel was perfect and the pizza in the lounge was delicious!!

I've stayed in this hotel amongst colleagues on a 3 days business trip to Rome.
The location isn't the best, but there are free transfers/buses going to the center and to the airport, but If you are in a hurry, then you must use a taxi!
The breakfast is a buffet with lots of choices, like fruits, juices, yogurts, etc. All included - very good.
The rooms are good, too, with satellite tv and vault. The bathroom is also very nice.
Everything was just shining and clean. 5*.

Id' stay here again!
Sheraton is always a Sheraton!
