there were 3 of us at this hotel and we had to stay near the Vatican, the rooms were small especially since we wanted to save money and had three twin beds in one room, 3 of us for two nights was euro210 per room, my mom stayed an extra night by herself for a cheaper price

we couldn't figure out the aircon (and couldn't be bothered to complain) so we slept with the window opened, a bit of street noise but not too bad, the Vatican area at night is dead with basically not much to eat/see or do but the walk over to ie the Navona area takes only about 15 min

breakfast was included in the room price and was decent, location is good if you have to be near the Vatican, Rome/Vatican is kind of an annual event now for my family so will likely come back to this hotel again, but if I was in Rome by myself, I'd much rather stay around the Navona or Trastevere side

Picked this hotel based on Tripadvisor reviews and location. Our overriding wish was to have a hotel near the Vatican and reasonably close to the subway. We also wanted a clean, neat hotel with a couple amenities. This hotel fit the bill.

Cleanliness & Service: No complaints. The room was always well kept, and clean by the time we returned from daily sightseeing in the late afternoon, prior to leaving for dinner. The cleaning staff was quiet, courteous and barely seen. Breakfast was very good; a nice spread of fruit, pastries, breakfast meats, cereals and, of course, coffee. Staff was helpful in providing touring suggestions, arranging a taxi for our trip to the airport and arranging dinner reservations.

Location: Very nice. A little bit of a walk from the subway (~5-10 minutes) but shopping and a couple reasonable restaurants nearby, and great access to the Vatican and Vatican Museum. We are both in our late-20s, and for a couple who likes to walk, it was fine for even exploring "downtown" Rome. Taxis are also easily available from nearby taxi stands. On the otherhand, if you are looking to party late into the night in Rome, and then stumble back to this hotel, I might think twice. The streets can be pretty deserted after 11PM. Probably safe, but can be a little eerie.

Room: Somewhat on the small side, for those used to US hotel rooms, but probably similar to other Rome hotels. TV was small, and our room didn't offer much of a view. The bed was perfectly fine. If you plan on spending a great deal of time (other then sleeping) in your room, this may not be the best place to be. If you are looking for a comfortable bed and clean room, it's great.

Value: Given the nice location, good breakfast and very helpful staff, I think the price was very reasonable.

This hotel was in a great location. the rooms although a bit on the small side were very clean. The decor and attention to details of the room were faultless

I stayed there for 4 nights and I enjoyed it. It's clean and their staffs are very friendly. Breakfast is great, I enjoyed my hot chocolate and cappuccino. The room is clean, just right for a solo traveler (I had stayed in a smaller hotel in New York). Near Metro and Vatican City.
