Great hotel at reasonable price. Exceptionally clean and all the staff were very friendly indeed (and couldn't do enough for you)! Rooms are a little small but well laid out. Good location - plenty of small restaurants in the vicinity (turn right out of the hotel). Lots of good shopping on the doorstep. Unfortunately the roof terrace was not open at the time of our visit (opens for the season in a couple of weeks) - however we did go on the roof for a quick look around. Very pleasant indeed.

Great Location! Near public transportation, Terrific Shopping Street, Lots of reasonably priced restaurants and the friendliest and most helpful English speaking staff of anywhere I've stayed. They couldn't do enough for us. Great breakfasts too! We'll be back!

My wife and I just completed a trip to Italy starting in Florence and ending in Rome at the Hotel dei Consoli. The Hotel was in a great location next to Vatican City and convenient to bus and train. Tremendous value for the money and the staff was terrific and most accommodating to all needs.

“great hotel close to Vatican”

The hotel is well located for the Vatican. And there is a metro station close by for access to the rest of the city. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were great. The breakfast was also excellent.
Aa downside was the wifi was not working when we were there and the TV would not tune in properly. But only 2 minor things.
The resturant across the road is worth a look.
We had a lovely romantic break in Rome and the hotel played an integral part in making our trip great.

just returned from 3 days in rome the hotel was magnificent the service and food faultless and only 10 mins walk from vatican city
