The staff were excellent - very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Although our room overlooked the street, the double glazing ensured a quiet room which was very roomy and comfortable and made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel was located about 5 minutes walk from the Borghese Gardens and Via Veneto and there were plenty of restaurants to chose from within the vicinity. We used the hotel restaurant , which had wonderful views of St Peters, for a special birthday and couldn't find fault with it and the hotel even arranged for complimentary champagne to be served in our room which was a lovely gesture. A good selection for breakfast was served in the dining room again with wonderful views.
Notwithstanding all of the above, one good feature was the fact that the hotel was so centrally placed and within easy reach of all the main sightseeing attractions and by chance we chose a week where almost all museums were free.
The one big downfall, and not the fault of the hotel, was how expensive Rome is even taking into account the poor exchange rate.
