We (myself, husband, young daughter and parents in law) stayed at this hotel for three nights from 26-29 May for the Champions League Cup Final.

From arrival to departure the staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Nothing seemed like too much trouble.

The hotel was well furnished in period style but very well maintained and we all had clean good sized rooms which were cleaned daily. We could not find any fault with either room or housekeeping. They also had my daughters cot ready and waiting for us when we first entered the room which doesn't happen in a lot of the places we stay.

The location was excellent not only for the football stadium but for all the major sites in Rome. 20 mins walk in one direction took you to the Vatican and if you crossed the river at the end of the street you soon found yourself at the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona.

The area the hotel is in is residential, so not really noisy or crowded. The streets are leafy so it is an oasis from the hustle and bussle of the centro storico without being miles away from everything.

The beauty of this location means there are plenty of fantastic restaurants frequented by locals on your doorstep, rather than the tourist menu spag bol rip offs that you find around a lot of the major sites. We didn't have one bad meal the whole time we were there.

The hotel does have a lovely garden bar and indoor bar which serve some food along side drinks, we ate there on occasion and the food was very good. Yes, the bar might be on the pricey side but I've never in my life come across a hotel bar that is cheap!

We would definitely stay there again and also recommend it to friends and family.

Rich breakfast, comfortable and clean rooms, quiet area, green district, though far away from important sightseeings. We used taxi all the time which was overpriced. We stayed in two rooms with our three children in two rooms and we never felt unsecured.

Stayed here for a long weekend when Wales played Italy earlier this month. The hotel accomodated a large mixed group of 15 of us and everyone would go back again due to the service we recieved and the overall experience of the hotel.
The breakfast spread catered for everyone and the piano bar provided a relaxing atmosphere to chill out in. The hotel is located about a 10 minute walk from the Piaza del Popolo so was ideal.
If i was to comment on anything negative it would be that there was some noise in the room, I was directly above the breakfast room which is the reason for this and don't think anyone else in the group had the same issue.

We stayed here for 10 days while on our honeymoon. The staff was very friendly and helpful even before we arrived. The hotel was very clean and nice. Room was a good size, we were going to be out mostly anyway. The only complaint I had was that the bed was firmer than I'm used to, but after a night or two I got used to it. There was a complimentary breakfast each morning that was good, had the basics. The location I tought was great. Only 2 blocks from the metro, a 10 minute walk to the Vatician, Olympic Statium about 20 min walk, Spanish Steps about 20 minutes and the Trevi Fountian isn't far from the Spanish Steps. We enjoyed being about to walk to most of the popular monuments, but if we were tired the metro wasn't far. I never felt unsafe walking around at anytime of the night either.
