Travelled over August and stayed for 3 nights as a family of 4. Breakfast was really unappetising...as was suggested by other reviewers. Barely ate any.....The room was not air-conditioned as it needed to have the key in slot for any electricity to be running in the room. When we left the key in slot for the third day, the cleaners took it out. All in all....with temperatures 33 degrees celsius....took a couple of hours for the room to cool down.
Room clean and central. Easy walking to sites....Loads of extra costs esp with relation to internet! considering other hotels offer it free!

It is situated close to a lot of cultural attractions and historical sights, such as the 'Palazzo Massimo, the 'Terme di Diocleziano', the 'Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, the 'Basilica di Santa Maria degli Angeli', the 'Teatro dell'Opera and the 'Colosseo, there is lot of shopping around. It is very near to Termini Station .Staff are very friendly. The breakfast is a buffet style and is was ok.There were lot of restaurants around .The one which impressed us was and italian restaurant "tomoko tudini' pizza & rest which is very near to this hotel and wood oven pizza was good.

Internet costs double what it does at the internet cafe nearby when many other hotels offer it for free and you are not allowed to keep any of your own food in the mini-fridge. The only advantage was that it was close to the train station and metro line.

This hotel is close to Rome Termini, the main train station so brilliant for travel links and the reason we picked it. Easy walking to the Monti and Esquilino districts, hotel is just along from the beautiful Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore. The rooms are clean and fairly spacious, the staff friendly and despite the central location the room is surprisingly quiet. Admittedly, the breakfast is a buffet style and is not the best. Edible but not really all that enjoyable!

Room Tip: We had a room not on the main street which was quieter.

Hotel comfortable, well located, walk to station and plenty of restaurants and shops around. Breakfast was the worst in all 6 hotels we stayed at in Italy, inedible and the coffee awful. WiFi expensive and terrible reception. The staff were helpful and friendly. Used the 'Roof Top bar' every evening for pre dinner drinks, staff very courteous. Did not get time to use the gym facilities. Overall good location, comfortable room, nice bathroom with plenty of supplies, do not recommend the breakfast

After dropping the car back to Termini station, getting to the hotel on foot was done with ease. About 100 metres away from the station - this was a great location for anyone needing it. Just outside the hotel, there are lots of internet cafes, other hotels, money exchange places, and restaurants and bars. As a location for a traveler in transit (which we were using it for), the location you couldn't get any better. It's not on a really busy street either so the night's sleep was undisturbed.
Bit of a walk to the sites - about 15 minutes to Colosseum and 30 minutes walk to Spanish Steps. So not really great if you don't fancy walking but buses and metro go from Termini.

Check-in was uncomplicated (beware of the tax imposed by the local government which is payable locally), quick and easy. Small reception area but well air conditioned and not busy. We accidentally left some documents downstairs, which when we were in our room, the receptionist brought straight up to us which was good.

The lift took us to our room which had a double (two singles pushed together) and two singles so good for a family of four - although not ideal for a family if staying here on holiday (not a lot of space for four people). Was clean, had a well stocked fridge, TV, DVD player, huge wardrobe and again air conditioning and windows that opened onto the street below.

Bathroom was clean, lots of towels and comp shower products, moisturisers etc (I always judge a hotel by the freebies). The shower was ace (no bath though)- a corner pod that had different functions in it and a seat, power, massage and rain functions etc.

We left too early to try the breakfast, but apparently it was served on the roof bar, where they also did a bar service in the evening to watch the sun go down over the city.

24 hour reception service too and comp newspapers in reception lounge. There were signs to the sauna and gym too but didn't have time to experience them.

The sign on the door was 4-stars, but I'd argue with whoever awarded that and probably give it 3 stars. Ample and average city hotel that had no major problems.
