good location excellent staff lovely rooms.no bad coments, a good nice hotel

I ve been with my wife for 3 nights in this lovely hotel.
We really liked the room we had, 211, on the 2nd floor.
Great helpful staff, excellent location.
We often come in Rome, we have found the place to stay!

I ve been in Rome for 3 nights in this lovely Hotel with my family. We had 2 rooms on the first floor. Great rooms, large and very clean. Excellent staff, very helpful with our requests.
Location is also excellent, close to the Roman Forums and Colosseum. We loved to walk around and discover the beautiful city of Rome.

This hotel is good value for money with a reasonable breakfast, but the rooms are small. Hotel Borromeo is central for Colosseum and other cultural sites, for the metro (though beware that you can hear / feel the metro trains from within your room) and for restaurants / bars. Staff are friendly, we were able to leave our luggage on both our first day prior to checking in and on the last day. We didn't use the bar as there is no where to sit down. There is a mini bar, though no prices available. However my son had a couple of bottles of water which were just a euro each.

All in all, with current pound / euro issues this is good value and central. It is just that the area around the bed was small and we had no kind of view. It was however clean.
