This hotel was booked as part of our Globus tour (a family tour). The first thing to know is that this hotel is about a 20 euro cab ride from city centre. It had a lovely swimming pool which we took full advantage of - it was Rome's first heat wave of the summer. We toured in the morning until around 1-2pm and headed back to the hotel for some pool time - everyone appreciated it. It brought us back to life for dining and walking in Rome central in the evening.
I was not impressed by the dining room, it was servicable, that is as much as I could say. Not much of an ambience, more of a feeling of a sectioned-off room.
The setting of the hotel is impressive - you could be anywhere, you are truly set apart from the hustle of the city. It is quite tranquil. Lots of lush trees. I believe that it borders on Rome's largest park.
Our room was fine, with a balcony. Our son was with us, so we had a cot in the room for him. Everything worked fine.
All in all, I would recommend this hotel to those who are going in the summer who want a place to get away from the touring for a little, to re-charge their batteries by the pool.
