At about 5 minutes from Termini and a block and a half from another metro station, this is a great base location for exploring Rome. It's also not a bad walk to the Collesium and Forum areas.

Rooms were small, but no worse than many similar hotels I've stayed at in Europe. Storage space was a bit of a problem, with only one wardrobe, a small desk, and no dresser. Hot water often didn't last long (one shower only). Internet access was limited to one computer in the lounge with a pretty slow connection. No Wi-Fi available on site. Breakfast was not great - mostly pre-packaged rolls and breads; this is the area that could use the most improvement.

The staff was great, very friendly and helpful.

  • Liked — Convenient access to Metro
  • Disliked — Included breakfast was low quality

Small hotel within 5 minutes walk of the Termini.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Had a little courtyard which was nice for unwinding after a long days walking and for smokers!
Rooms basic but clean. Lack of drawer space could be a problem if staying longer than a couple of days. The rooms at the front appeared to be bigger than those overlooking the courtyard, but would be noisier. Breakfast - basic rolls/croissants with cheese or jam, cereals. Served from 07:00 - 0:930 - nothing special but perfectly acceptable.
Very convenient for shops, restaurants and picking up tour buses.

Lovely little hotel about 5 mins walk from Santa Maria Maggiore (which is beautiful inside and out), there is a small supermarket below a department store which is handy for water and snacks on days out. Make sure you stock up if you're going for a week as the water on snack huts are extremely expensive, we paid 6 euros for a bottle of water!!!

The air con in reception was fantastic and the reception staff were brilliant.

Breakfast was not great, nothing hot apart from tea and coffee and it was all pre-packed!! Not good.

The hotel comes with a quant little terrace area and bar, which was nice when the sun had set a little.

This hotel was ideal for hard core tourists and if you're only interested in Rome for it's attractions then this is perfect.

  • Liked — Air Conditioning!!
  • Disliked — No outside area to relax and soak up the sun in.

Nice place. Helpful staff. Great location close to the Termini train station & subway for mobility to other locations in Rome. A little noisy as its on a busy street. Breakfast is not much to brag about. Sleep was comfortable.

My family (parents and two college-age daughters) stayed at this hotel for four nights while visiting Rome. I picked this hotel after reading Rick Steves' Italy guidebook and was not disappointed. There is nothing spectacular about the hotel, but the rooms were clean, cool (although the air conditioner was sometimes loud), and not too small. The location is convenient if you are arriving/departing from Termini train station, and it is also very close to a Metro stop. Many attractions are within walking distance, and all are accessable using the Metro.

Our only problem was that one of the managers had informed us that there would be an additional charge for paying with a credit card (which was not mentioned in Rick Steves' book or when I reserved the rooms and, at least in the US, is probably in violation of service agreements with the major credit card companies). However, the manager at the desk when we checked out said that those were the "other manager's rules" and didn't charge us more than the Rick Steves' rate of 95 Euros for a double bedroom w/bathroom.

All in all, we would recommend this hotel.
