Whilst I will agree with a previous review that the hotel is not the easiest to find, once you do, it is well worth it. Access is up 3 floors with no lift but that is made clear in all bookings and on the website so is to be expected. After a number of hours walking around Rome, the stairs were tiring but never became a problem. Central to almost all the major tourist sites such as the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon (all within easy walking distance), it is also very close to shops, pizzerias (as recommended by the staff) and bars. The insider sight seeing tips were invaluable, saving us at least 3 hours of queuing at the Colosseum. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed in a hotel room, although I would've liked facilities to make tea/coffee. I would also say, as there was so much to do and see, the TV was only rarely on as background noise whilst getting ready to go out so having no English channels was not a problem. I liked the way breakfast was served, like being spoilt with breakfast in bed everyday, and really enjoyed what was on offer (the jam was delicious). The staff were extremely friendly, courteous and helpful and the service was superb, I really cannot fault them. They made my birthday trip to Rome a very special and memorable visit and I would happily stay here again in the future.
