We have stayed for three nights me, my husband and one couple (friends) and I would like to say that was not bad for the purpose we want.

Rome is so wonderful, romantic and a lot of places to see so we went to our room only for sleep and for breakfast (which was great).

We have arranged before to rent a car so the location of the hotel was not really a big problem for us because we did not walk or take cab (expensive!!) or bus/metro. But for others would be a problem because it is a bit far away from everything....

I would recommend it for business trip as a great location.

Last the hotel was average for me (small rooms-old made bathrooms - not really clean) and I rate it for 3* and propose immediate reconstraction (face-lift).

Also we booked it with a great deal at night so I think that It was everything we want for our wonderful trip in Rome.

I was breezing through Rome on my way to wedding in Sicily. Decided to stay here for two reasons: (1) was traveling alone (meeting my husband in Sicily) and didn't want to deal with noise/traffic of central Rome and (2) because I was determined to finally see the Sistine Chapel (after more than 5 visits to Rome). In the past, I have overslept (partying too late) and missed getting to the Sistine Chapel before the cut off time. Very short distance to Vatican ( I finally made it!) and in quiet neighborhood (read: no nightlife nearby). No metropolitana stop nearby (subway), but there is a commuter train station that is very close and you can transfer to the subway. Had a nice double room with terrace which had a decent view. Found food to be pretty good in the restaurant. Will definitely stay there again with my husband the next time we are in Rome.

Excellent hotel, Bad location. Great rooms. Very large. Good variety at Breakfast. Wonderful service. BAD BAD BAD location. It was so far from everything. It is on the far side of Vatican City. Nothing is really in walking distance and cabs out that far were outraegous!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel. Rooms were clean and in good working order. The breakfast buffet was great and the coffee was terrific.
The staff were all very helpful and the hotel allowed us the use of their wheelchair for my Mother while we were in Rome. There is no way my mother would have been able to see as much if we didn't have the chair
We used to shuttle service several days and it was always on time.
The little mercado - left out of the hotel then right on the street at the bottom of the hill and on the right hand side was well stocked and had beer, wine, water and milk at a very reasonable price.
The 990 bus that goes right by the Vatican stopped very close to the Mercado. Good way to get around.
There are limited restaurants in the immediate area. The Hotel desk recommended the Nagarhe Sardo on Via Delle Medaglie D'Oro (about a 15 min walk from the hotel). It was a great place, staff was very friendly and the fixed price meal was more than a person could manage. We actually ended up here twice as it was such a great place.
We did eat one supper at the Hotel - okay but nothing to write home about.

After spending one and a half weeks traveling thru Europe...this hotel was a nice place to land at for the last days in our trip. The hotel is away from the center of Rome but it is 10 min away from the Vatican City. The room was quite large for it being a European room....It was quite noisy but it didnt bother me. I would be very tired once I got to the room and the beds are comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel is very good and priced good also. YOu do have to pay to get more channels than originally you are allowed on the tv and IT IS WORTH IT!! Overall, the hotel is a very nice place to stay at.
