Excellent hotel, Bad location. Great rooms. Very large. Good variety at Breakfast. Wonderful service. BAD BAD BAD location. It was so far from everything. It is on the far side of Vatican City. Nothing is really in walking distance and cabs out that far were outraegous!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel. Rooms were clean and in good working order. The breakfast buffet was great and the coffee was terrific.
The staff were all very helpful and the hotel allowed us the use of their wheelchair for my Mother while we were in Rome. There is no way my mother would have been able to see as much if we didn't have the chair
We used to shuttle service several days and it was always on time.
The little mercado - left out of the hotel then right on the street at the bottom of the hill and on the right hand side was well stocked and had beer, wine, water and milk at a very reasonable price.
The 990 bus that goes right by the Vatican stopped very close to the Mercado. Good way to get around.
There are limited restaurants in the immediate area. The Hotel desk recommended the Nagarhe Sardo on Via Delle Medaglie D'Oro (about a 15 min walk from the hotel). It was a great place, staff was very friendly and the fixed price meal was more than a person could manage. We actually ended up here twice as it was such a great place.
We did eat one supper at the Hotel - okay but nothing to write home about.

After spending one and a half weeks traveling thru Europe...this hotel was a nice place to land at for the last days in our trip. The hotel is away from the center of Rome but it is 10 min away from the Vatican City. The room was quite large for it being a European room....It was quite noisy but it didnt bother me. I would be very tired once I got to the room and the beds are comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel is very good and priced good also. YOu do have to pay to get more channels than originally you are allowed on the tv and IT IS WORTH IT!! Overall, the hotel is a very nice place to stay at.

I have just returned from Rome and I stayed for 6 nights at this 4* hotel!!I would not recommend this hotel.I changed room 3 times firstly due to the fact that the room was right beside the lift very noisy,then air conditioning was not working and toilet & minibar were leaking & thirdly noise.The walls are paper thin.I choose this hotel as I thought with it being outside the city it would be quieter.The housekeeping is sloppy,things are not replaced & minibar was restocked.Some of the staff were very rude.However I would like to mention Ghia & Simon ( Food Service )who were very friendly & helpful.Some of the reception staff ( Ladies!! )need a lesson in manners.They were sniggering & very rude.The male members of the reception team were helpful & professional.I was leaving at 7am but was told by reception I could grab some breakfast before I left,I met a very rude waiter who told me coffee was all I could have dispite the fact the buffet was all laid out.Having paid for a 4* I was disappointed.Rome is a wonderful city but unfortunately for me I did not get much rest at night so for what its worth stay in the centre of Rome.Take good walking shoes as you need to walk to see Rome.
