Il Corso was a wonderful surprise. it's great value, clean, so quiet you would never know you are in the heart of Rome. it is also within walking distance to many tourist attractions, shops and restaurants. great service too.

We were very pleased that we chose Il Corso for my wife's first trip to Italy. Luca and Charlotte and the others who run this wonderful b&b are very accomodating-helpful and gracious in their suggestions and service. Il Corso is located about a block south of Piazza del Popolo and a short walk from the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Piazza Navona. A bit further (maybe a 45 minute walk from the Vatican in one direction and from the Colosseum in another direction) from other sites. A variety of options are available each morning for breakfast, although you may want to pass on the powdered eggs. The rooms are comfortable and simply, but niceely decorated. The bathroom is adequate, but don't forget to pack shampoo. Considering it's location, it is very, very quiet at night. You will not be disappointed staying here!

Room Tip: The violet room is a corner room that is very quiet and spacious.

Great B&B just a short walk from Spagna metro station and the Spanish Steps.

Staff are really friendly, room was spacious, very clean and serviced each day. Breakfast was delivered to the room when requested and was a perfect way to start the day.

Can't recommend enough!

Room Tip: We stayed in the violet room - it was lovely!

If you are looking for something with a bit of privacy in a fantastic location, Il Corso Bed and Breakfast is the choice. The room was clean, beautiful decorated, and unusual for Rome - huge. Hot water, great shower and bathroom, great water pressure. Fantastic breakfast. Really close to the metro, easy to get around. Great central location right near Il Corso. You pay for the privacy and space, but if that's what you want, that's what you would get. My only comment to the b&b is that often times there were problems with the airconditioner in the bedroom. It wouldn't really cool down the room very quickly. I stayed in the Violet room and it was just fantastico!

-hostess was SO incredibly sweet, caring kind and happy to help with anything. Answered all my touristy questions and made me feel comfortable about being a lone female traveller in Rome (at times daunting)
-clean room, always cleaned so well each day
-breakfast is free, and they are willing to go above and beyond to satisfy your dietary requirements
-great location, near all the historical sites and great for shopping
-I felt very very safe in Rome, which I was concerned about because the calibre of accommodation in Rome (that is within my budget) is often questionable
-yes, sometimes the plumbing made sounds, but I didn't really notice it. It's Europe, the building is more than likely 100 years old, a few squeaks is likely.

Overall, I recommend 100% and hope that this business does really well!

Room Tip: I stayed in the violet room, great for solo or couples!

Rooms are as shown on th pictures on their website, clean and comfortable, mine had window/balcony doors that could be opened. Bathroom is basic but clean, towels, liquid hand soap and hairdryer was provided. Location was very convenient all main attractions could be reached by foot. Very nice breakfest, everyday you request whatever you like and you can have it either in common area or delivered to your room. Overall had good experience.
