“Home sweet home!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2013

We spent a week at this very suggestive B&B in the heart of Rome. I am originally from Italy (moved out very young though) and, after many years out of the country, I felt just like coming back home thanks to Ale (the owner)'s kindness and the welcoming apartment!
It was the first time in Rome for my boyfriend and Alessandra made it just perfect with her helpful advice on where to go and what to see in such a short period of time! We loved it and we will definitely go back there on our next trip to Rome. THANKS ALE! :)

Spotted this B & B via Sawday's website and we weren't disappointed. Great convenient location and fabulous accommodation with such a warm and friendly feel about it. Ale (the owner) has some great suggestions for eating out etc and you must visit the local market and the ice cream parlour (very reasonably priced ice cream just down the road). Definitely recommend a stay here and can't wait to return.

This is a wonderful place to stay in the heart of Rome and a stones throw from the Coleseum. The apartment is very clean tidy and welcoming. Ale is a fantastic host. She gave us great breakfasts and lots of advice on good restaurants and even an outdoor swimming pool nearby when it was too hot for the kids to go sightseeing. I have recommended her place to friends and they have come back very happy with their stay too. We will retrn on our next trip to Rome. The kids still talk fondly of their time in Ale's charming B&B.

We stayed at B&B Piazza di Vittorio for 4 nights and it was the perfect choice for exploring Rome for the first time. Our room was Koko's room which was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated combining classic and contemporary features. The surrounding area was lovely and only a 10 minute walk from Termini station (the main one in Rome linking the centre to Fiumicino airport) and a couple minutes from the metro. We walked in to the centre most days but it was good to know that we could get back quickly and easily at the end of each day. Ale, the owner was so friendly and kind in helping us with suggestions of places to go and making restaurant reservations. It was lovely chatting to her and we felt very welcome and relaxed. I would recommend this beautiful B&B to anyone visting Rome and will definitely stay again!

B&B Piazza di Vitorio is a very pleasant place to stay. We stayed in 'Suite G' which includes a living room area with a large comfy sofa, a writing desk, television, small fridge & a pull out dining table for you use. The sofa I think also sleeps another person, although this is not something we needed. There isn't a door between the lounge area & bedroom so probably best for a family rather the 3 adults sharing. The bathroom has a lovely walk in shower.
There is a kitchen, separately, where you have breakfast & although again we didn't need it, with some notice, the owner is happy for you to use this at other times. The breakfast included croissant, cake, fresh bread, a range of cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, different teas & fresh brewed espresso; much more than we could eat.
Unlike some other places I've stayed, I felt extremely welcome & my custom fully appreciated. Alessandra was so friendly, helpful & thoughtful. She arranged dinner reservations for us, made great recommendations for things to do & on the last day, as the room was not needed until the following day, allowed us to continue to use it until we needed to leave.
There are a number of really nice restaurants nearby. We liked Trattoria Monti the best - but make sure you have a reservation. There is a metro stop within 3 minutes walk & it's also within walking distance of the Colloseo. It's very close to Termini train station where the Leonardo express goes to Fiumicino airport & a number of different bus routes will take you into the older parts of town that aren't quite as accessible by metro.
We had a fabulous time & would definitely stay again.

My daughter and I stayed at this lovely apartment, close to all the sights in Rome and the owner could not have been more helpful. The apartment was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast, delivered on a tray, was perfect every morning. We could not have experienced anything better. Alessandra recommended restaurants that came up to our expectations (in one case, well exceeded) and gave us ideas of places to visit along with trattorias for lunch. She provided the real Rome experience, we became firm friends and this will not be our only visit.

Room Tip: Our suite was perfect for mother and daughter, but would also suit a couple for a longer stay
