“A Charming Minimalist B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2012

I've stayed at Mario's for 2 nights in June and I would be absolutely happy to recomend this charming place and it's lovely owner.
This is a very basic but thoughful and friendly place for those of you who want to travel the city and not to stay in your room.
The B&B is spotless, and Mario is very kind. For my personal experience from him: he was kind enough to carry my lugadge to Termini station himself.
This is a great way to see the nature of the city and experience at least one great Italian person :)

Room Tip: There are five rooms and as far as I could tell, they were all the same.

We had a great time in Rome at this BB. Great location, close to all attractions, 10 minute walk from Termini Station. The lovely host 'Mario' was very helpful. Our room was very clean with a confortable bed. Excellent price/quality ratio. We highly recommend this BB.

We found this lovely little B&B using TripAdvisor and it was excellent - great location in a nice area, fantastic owner (Mario) who really looks after you and makes you feel at home, very clean, and great value!

The area is great - its in a nice area just away from the central tourist 'heart' of Rome (which is like the tourist rat race - so your best not staying there!) with a few resteraunts and nice little shops.

Mario is fantastic - warm welcome and very helpful. He's great for giving tips and advice and really does make you feel at home in the centre of Rome.

Rooms are amazing - very clean and spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Also the air-con was very welcome after it hit 42degrees and a few days we were there...

I know there are LOADS of B&B's in Rome to choose from...but do yourself a favour, and just book this one!

:)

Great location relative to Roma Termini and northern city sights. No frills but excellent value for the dollar/euro. Mario is the consummate host who will bend over backwards to make certain you are comfortable and have all of your needs met.

The Agli Horti Sallustiani is a lovely B&B in a good location and Mario is a lovely host. Mario immediately made us feel very welcome and gave us all the information we needed to get around Rome. The breakfast was ample and the room was clean and modern. I would definitely recommend this B&B to friends and would not hesitate to go back. Thank you Mario!
