We stayed at the Teatro di Pompeo from May 30 to June 1, 2009 after a 14 night Best of Italy Cruise. The hotel is wonderfully located, particularly for the Campo di Fiore, Plaza Navoa, and the old Ghetto. The Pantheon is also an easy walk. There are numerous neighborhood restaurants available close by; despite the central location, we found the hotel to be a quiet oasis in the busy city.
Clean, relatively large room ( #24), lots of hot water in a good shower, and a good breakfast in very interesting surroundings. Above all, outstanding service in a very helpful and welcoming manner.
Not a cheap hotel, but one that gives very good value for money to my thinking.
