My wife and I stayed at the Kolbe in June. We found it on line and everyone indicated it was "perfect location". First off, it is a nice hotel, the nicest we stayed in during our 11 day trip to Italy. It was clean, the staff was friendly and it was a large room.

The location is average. It is a decent walk to a few of the attractions. However, given the set up of Rome, at least one or two attractions will be a long walk. Because we were not on any time retraint, we walked everywhere... from the train station, to the Coliseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and even the Vatican.

It's a little hard to find, but overall a nice place to stay in Rome. I would recommend this hotel.

This is a nice hotel that is very modern and clean. The family rooms for 4 are great. But the best thing about this hotel is the location. It is in the heart of ancient Rome. Also the breakfast was the best we had in Italy.

A very good hotel. Nice and helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Good location even that you have to walk about 10-15 minutes to the city center.A very good and rich breakfast is served in a very nice gardrn. It is amazing how in a city like rome the only sound we have heard was the birds in the garden. Highly recommended.

I just returned from my trip to Rome with my family and parents, party of 6. Even though Tripadvisor had mixed reviews we booked two rooms through the internet.

The hotel is ideally located behing thr Forum so you are in the middle of the historic area, which was the purpose of our trip.

Upon an eraly arrival Katherine helped us in and told us that our rooms were not ready. I was expecting this, since we were at the hotel at 11:00 am . Nevertheless she gave us a couple of dinks coupons and great tips to get the true Rome experience.

After visisting the Capitolini Museum we returned to the hotel and katherine was there once again to greet us and handed us the keys to our rooms. We walked in and were pleasantly surprised to seee that we had been upgraded to the BEST rooms we've ever had.

During the next few days we would also meet Florina and Elena, who were also vety pleasing with all the members of our family.

This hotel has it all, Great Location, Great Rooms, Great Food & Beverage but their best asset they have is their staff.
